ASTERO GUILLEM.
Was in the very front of the formation together with the 2ND PRINCE and his leopard. They are for commands and early defense as leopard could make a proper defensive power and offensive power.
On both their sides, were the second battalion, assigned for brute force and defence.
On the second line, were shielders who specialized in fighting with the massive thick ass shields they used for defense and smashing the enemy's head with. They are the ones who were in dire situations for the last weeks as they are always the one who shields for attacks and saves the weaker ones.
On the third line were swordsmen, who would advance to the front once needed. And would be dealing damages to the enemy who would try to squeeze through the formation or to even be on their range. This is also where the CAT exotic and the DRAGON exotic were hiding. So that once this troop advances, the dragon could attack and the CAT could sneak through.
On the fourth line were half of the number of archer soldiers in the battlefield, they are assigned to attack from the back once the enemy starts to advance. Minimizing the number of enemies is their goal. The LIZARD exotic was also here as it could help do some surprise attacks from the ground. Devaine had put the lizard exotic to the back to let it munch through lots of greens in order to have lots of mana and to do continous attacks. As it also does not have any defensive power, they can use its ability to make an adhesive-like saliva to use for archers and slow down the pace of the enemies.
The cheetah is guarding the back as to give the lizard assitance and to also be its runningman in case needed.
On the walls, are the rest of the archers, together with Devaine, Adrian, Lui, Clastel and Sky. They are both for supervision in case there are incoming enemies who were sneaking an attack during the battle and of course snipers. To kill someone who is suspiciously close to their allies.
As Lui is excellent at spotting enemies, she could be of great help to Sky. They had been training together since they came to the borders.
Together, they are creating a fortress. Hoping they could at least minimize the damage of war.
A gong can be heard throughout the battlefield. This is indicating that the supervision team had since spotted the enemy.
Devaine took a deep breath to minimize her nervousness. She had long known that this war is going to happen yet now that she is here, it feels surreal.
Moments later, countless arrows flew to the sky. Devaine held Lui for a second before shouting.
" LUI! AVERT THE DIRECTION OF THE ARROWS. RIGHT NOW! "
Lui flapped her wings and turned to her maximum size before quickly flying towards the front. There, she hovered upwards and curled her wings before flapping it wide. Due to this, almost 3/4 of the arrows were deflected while the others were taken care of by the shielders who advances.
Devaine let out a huge sigh. Yet it makes her even more nervous. This just means that not only them had made a strategy.
" I need to go down. Uncle, Clastel, do your best. "
With that, Devaine hopped onto Sky and jumped towards the ground. This is PLAN B.
After the arrows had been released, countless of enemies were seen advancing at a rapid speed.
Devaine noticed their numbers
" Son of a. Who told us they only have 5000. Sky! To the front! "
Sky sprinted to the front Astero had been fighting already. He was now on the ground as his horse had been shot and killed. The second prince consecutively makes tsunami attacks and tsunami walls in hope to not let the formation be destroyed.
Archers from their side had then released their arrows. As it had sticky adhesive on them, once it hit on the enemies, the 2ND BATTALION would smash two enemies together allowing them to be unable to attack functionally.
" Uncle, it seems that we had been tricked. They don't have 5000 soldiers. They had 15! 15,000!! "
Devaine shouted as she approached her uncle Astero who were madly swinging his big ass sword like it was only a machete.
" 15,000?? THIS SONS OF BITCHES! "
Astero madly swung his sword before pulling out some random axe from a fead enemy and chop a couple of heads with those. They only got 2000 troops as they thought they would only fought 5000 enemy, and now he was informed that they tricked him? Play unfairly to not only have double the number but to even triple it? Just how cowardly were they?
And just as expected, the formation was destroyed as what would they even do after being attacked by 15,000 soldiers.
Just by Astero alone, he could atleast eradicate 500 heavy armored enemy soldiers, but 500 is just a small portion of the numbers of enemy.
Not just 15,000 though, they could even see another wave of people running towards them.
Devaine was busy trying to command Sky to shoot those who she thinks are of big threat fighters. She won't allow them to reach their troops or else they would be wiped out.
They must have killed atleast 3000 people on the other side but their side also had a lot of casualties.
Devaine was riding Sky, searching for fighters that she could kill and MUST kill but how did she even forget that the other parties also have exotics?
An arrow shot Sky's legs which made them tumble and roll, Devaine had hit her head on a rock and bled while Sky was trying to shield her from any more attacks. Devaine felt light headed. Her vision were blurry and her head hurts.
She could hear her uncle's screams from afar but what can she even do at this point. Maybe, maybe if she were more careful, she could have avoided this. If only she had made a much better plan.
