The battlefield who was once covered in corpse because of non stop battles, were miraculously stopped. Gold light shines far and wide and was followed by an enormous magic circle. There, all corpse seems to have rose from the dead. Like nothing had happened.
An enemy riding an exotic like dinosaur froze in place. He was about to attack Devaine who had been laying on the ground while Sky was busy killing people who seem to have wanted to attack Devaine. Sky was unable to detect the exotic owner enemy as it seems to have skills in hiding it's presence.
" Don't come near my sister! "
A white fox jumped from the top of the border tower towards the ground. The allies and even the enemy were puzzled as to see two foxes who even look identical to each other.
It is just that Sky was bigger while the other fox was at a size of a leopard, just enough to carry one person.
While Sky was towering 30 feet wide and high, with white fur with red highlights and were engulfed in fire, the other fox looked, a lot more gentle.
White fur with golden highlights, while there seems to be two light balls who were circling it, just like how Sky's fire bullet does.
As soon as the small fox saw Sky, who were clearly mad and was killing all enemies who dares to rush at his range, it ran towards Sky and nudge him. Like a greeting.
" Sister! "
Dianna ran towards Devaine who was laying on the ground with lots of blood dripping from her head.
As Sky saw his master's pitiful situation, he quickly turned his head towards the exotic dinosaur owner.
100 fire bullets, finer than it ever was, appeared from the air and began circling around Sky like crazy.
The small fox jolted in surprise and tried to calm Sky down but to no avail.
All 100 bullets stopped and lined up PERFECTLY before shooting towards the dinosaur exotic non-stop.
Sky's eyes turned black, and it wasn't something to be happy about.
As the exotic could feel and was connected to the owner's life force, it could detect the well-being and the status of it's owners life.
As Sky could feel his owner's life flickering in a dangerously low light, he knew something is wrong.
" I can't ! I can't heal her! Why?! "
Dianna's tears began to fell. She had been blessed with such powerful healing abilities, even her exotic was a healer, why can't she heal her own sister?
There, they saw a black mark on Devaine's nape. It was a magic circle.
So that's why she can't heal her.
That's why she is not getting better.
The enemy had planned this.
Upon knowing that a level 5 exotic had been found on the Lizanta Kingdom, they all know they are doomed if they ever went to war. But as they had already invested a lot in this war and exhausted all their wealth and even had received help from four other kingdoms, they can't just cancel this like some kind of a meeting.
That's why the people who are of high standing within the war wanted to do something. To of course, make the upcoming war be in their favor.
They search far and wide and had employed a thousand mages and black mages to make a spell. It does not have to be a specific spell.
It just needs to be deadly.
They hid their true numbers of soldiers and only ever display 5000 of them every now and then, to trick the spies and the people supervising them from Lizanta.
Even if they had thrice the number of exotic owners and exotics, knowing that they are only of level number, 2 and 3, they knew they are at risk, atleast.
Even at level 3, they knew the exotic that the crown prince of Lizanta had, is also powerful. It led the past war and was very keen in knowing the enemies movements. So they had to kill it.
Using a powerful teleportation circle, they are able to infiltrate 25 people inside the border. Using some of their men as bait, they also obviously tried to infiltrate so they could wisk the soldiers attention towards the baits and successfully send their people inside the border.
Yet they are not successful as the eagle was able to avoid the arrow and hit its wings instead of its head.
Though, atleast they had injured it.
But using a crystal ball, they saw how powerful the fox was as it killed atleast 22 of their men, like they were nothing to him. They even hid the evidence of the burning by planting weeds again using the power of the lizard exotic.
While 22 of the men were killed by Sky, Adrian had killed the 3 other men who tried to run away. He shot them with an arrow, straight to their head, like how they planned to hit the eagle.
That is why the enemy had decided to kill the fox. They can't make it as their own as it seems to have its own consciousness and it shows how well it bonded with its owner.
But because Sky was too fast, the archer who was assigned to shoot him with an arrrow that has the spell on it, panicked. And therefore, shot Devaine on the nape.
The arrow evaporated and soon turned into a spell. Making Devaine the victim instead of Sky.
The leader of the exotics owners, the dinosaur owner saw the mistake that their archer had made and tried to hit Sky as he, also had the other remaining spell, but was interrupted by Dianna.
Upon seeing the spell, Dianna clearly knew what it was. And she snapped.
" Hey you. Whoever you are. "
Tears dripping from her face, she faced Sky who was also not on his right mind.
" Kill them all. "
