I woke up in a dusty room. I sat up on the bed. The bed had a black comforter and four white pillows. I looked around the room and by a short dresser I saw my bags. One was a duffel bag, two others were suitcases, and the last one was a string bag.

I remembered what happened before and started to flip out. Who knows how long it's been since the battle started. I was basically adult-napped and stolen from my mates. They were in trouble and Jay lied to me. What if he was forced to stay or what if Samuel or him died!

I jumped out of the bed and ran for the door. When I opened the door there was a hallway. On the right there were two doors. While on the left there were two doors and at the end of the hallway there was a room. I heard someone talking about food so I thought it might be a TV.

I walked left down the hallway and went into a room at the end of the hallway. There was a couch, a TV, and a coffee table. The TV was on and a cooking show was on. The kitchen was right next to the room. In the kitchen was Cara. She was fixing breakfast. She was watching the TV screen when she saw me. She grabbed the remote and paused the show.

"Oh hi Ava,"she said nervously as she sets down the remote.

"Where are we?"I asked plopping down on the couch.

"A vacation house my family owns. We rarely come here. Sorry about the room,"she says as she starts to plate the food.

"So how is the pack?"I asked.

I was acting calm on the outside but inside I wanted to tackle her and force out the answers. I knew she wouldn't answer me like that so I'll give her time to explain. Then I'll attack her.

"Well I don't know actually. You've been out for three days and I haven't gotten any news from them at all,"she said,"I'm sorry for what I did in the car."

"Oh it's okay. I understand,"I said,"I was going crazy. I needed it."

She giggled for a moment then shut up and passed me a plate of food. I could tell she stopped because I had a look of death on my face but her stopping in fright only made me want to laugh. She's older than me by two years and she's over there scared to death. After a second or two I realized I was laughing my ass off.

"Eat up,"she said passing me a glass of milk,"we have a long day ahead of us."

"Here's the list,"she said handing me a list.

1. Unpack
2. Get dressed
3. Go get groceries
4. Clean vacation home
5. Garden
6. Try to get ahold of Jay or Samuel
7. Dishes and laundry

As I ate I looked at the list. It didn't seem to be that long so I could be lazy for part the day. I saw Jay and Samuel's named on the list and started to flip out again but quickly calmed down.

"This list isn't that long,"I said.

"The things on it take time,"she says taking our dirty dishes and putting them in the sink.
