Chapter 24

Lea's POV

I ate my cereal at the table. I heard Scar enter the room. As he went to the fridge I rolled my eyes. He sighed and turned to me. When he turned around I looked down at my bowl as I at my cereal.

"Can you please just look at me?"he asks.

I take a bite of my cereal.

"At least say a word,"he says.

I take another bite and he slams his hand on the counter making me jump.

"Talk to me damn it!"he yells.

I get up to leave when he grabs my hand. I turn and slap him.

"Don't you dare touch me again,"I say looking him right in the eye.

I pull my hand away from him and leave the house immediately. I can't believe he treated Ava's mate that way! My mate that way!

I start to slow down realizing I've shifted to my wolf form and have been running through the woods. I just realized that Jay's wolf is my mate. I wonder how he feels. Poor Luke, we never did chat much. He was quite quiet considering he was Jay's wolf.

Actually I also wonder how Luna and Jet are doing. I haven't seen them in a long while either. Luna was so beautiful and majestic. Jet was kind of rude and rough but he was cute.

I smiled as I walked through the woods and thought of all the old people that have been in my life. Oh Cara, I wonder if she found a mate. I bet if she did he would be so hot. I giggle as I think of it.

I wonder what Jay and Cara's mom Tulip is up to these days. Hmm, probably off somewhere being annoying and intrusive in people's lives. Speaking of parents I wonder how Lucas and Holly are doing. I hope they have had at least one kid together.

Oh my goddess I just remembered that one pack member that walked in on me and Ava (well Ava) while we were basically naked. I start laughing thinking of it.

Oh what was his name? Ugh, I can't think of it. Sate...Rage....oh right! It was Sage. Oh geez that was funny. There was that other boy I think his name was Will. Oh my times were strange.

I start to stop laughing when I remember Samuel. Man, I wish he didn't go fight it that stupid battle. He should've come with me to safety. I feel bad for him. He never got to see Emmett and Sara.

Well then again if he knew Jay got me pregnant he probably wouldn't be to happy. He could get so jealous. I awkwardly laugh. It has been a long time since I came to the pack. How long has it been? Like 6 or 7 years? Geez that's a long time. How old am I now, like 22 or 23? Wow, that's sad. I don't even remember my own birthday. The years have just flown by.
