Jay's POV
"Lea!"Scar screams to her running to keep her from doing this horrid thing.
"Bye, Scar,"Lea says as she gives up her control.
Scar then catches her as her body falls limp and holds her in his arms crying,"no! Don't leave me! Lea I'm sorry!"
He then turns to me with a look of hatred,"how dare you! This is your fault! She wanted to stay!"
He sets her body down to come towards me. I am quick to put my hands up in defense.
"This was her choice. Don't blame me for letting her do with her life as she wants,"I say not moving a muscle.
He then gives up on getting his revenge on me and falls to the ground in sorrow. He lets his head fall low as his feelings of hate change to pain and guilt.
"I shouldn't have let her leave,"he says to himself crying.
"Well you did. There's nothing you can do now,"I say.
I decide not to try to comfort him since his pain is his problem and his alone then walking over to Ava's body. I look down to her limp body. Oh Lea, I'm so sorry. I then get over my pain for now and pick her up.
As I leave I then say,"Now if you excuse me I have a mate to take care of. Oh and for you? You have no reason of being here so please leave before I have to make you."
I then leave him there alone to cope with what just happened. I'm so glad that Ava is now back even though Lea is gone. I loved Lea as much as I love Ava. It breaks my heart that she died. Also it brings joy to my heart that my beautiful mate, Ava, is back to stay for good.
I get home and get the letter out of my pocket to examine it a bit. Lea said to give this to Ava. I wonder what she wrote. Instead of opening it I set it on the side table next to the bed where Ava lies asleep.
I look her over and smile. It's nice to know she is safe and with me. I always thought I would never have her back. Now she is here and healthy.
"I love you Ava,"I say to her and then look up saying,"Goddess please take care of Lea she has done so much good and I would hate for her to be mistreated in the afterlife. I thank you for this, Lea."
