Chapter 56

After taking Da Bing with her, Tong Yao goes back to the base.

As soon as she enters the base, Little fatty asks, "Missy, where did you go, this early in the morning?"

"Oh, I took Da Bing to the pet care shop. Look she's all cute now." she replies, taking Da Bing out of her pet carrier.

Da Bing runs to fatty and he grabs her into his arms.

"Aww..... Bing Bing, are you hungry? Let's get you something to eat." he says and takes the cat to the kitchen to feed her some cat food.

Tong Yao just smiles and goes to her room to change.

After changing her clothes, she comes down and sits at her gaming table.

Lu Sicheng: "Get back to practice. Don't waste time."

Tong Yao just nods her head and begins to practice.

A few days pass with immense practice and the ZGDX members were developing strategies against different teams at OPL.

Sunday

Tong Yao wakes up in the morning, only to find that she was alone in bed.

She looks around the room but Lu Sicheng could nowhere be found.

Then suddenly her eyes catch a hand-written note on the bed-back.

It said.....

Good morning, baby. I'm sorry I'm not there beside you on the bed. There's some important work for which mom has called me to the company. I'll be back in the evening and enjoy the rest of the Sunday with you. Till then have your breakfast and maybe hang out with Jin Yang? Or maybe have some rest because I want you take you out for a date..... I love you, my little rabbit..... Feel free to miss me whenever you want....

And at the end there was a drawing of a rabbit. Tong Yao smiled seeing that.

She got out of bed and took a bath. She changed to some fresh clothes and went downstairs to have breakfast.

She took her tea and sat at the balcony.

While sipping her tea, she made a call to her bestie to ask her if she was free.

On call......

Tong Yao: "Hello, Jin Yang?"

Jin Yang: "Oh hi, Yao Yao. How are you? Sorry, I wasn't able to talk you in the past few days..... You know.... Was busy....."

Tong Yao: "I'm fine, dear. Just wanted to spend sometime with you. Are you free right now?"

Jin Yang: "Oh sorry, but I'm out on a date with your brother-in-law. Maybe some other day..... Is brother Cheng out there? You should go on a date with him instead...."

Tong Yao: "Nah, he's gone out to the company for some work. He'll return in the evening. It's 10:00 in the morning and I've got nothing to do."

Jin Yang: "Then maybe relax yourself today....."

Tong Yao: "Yeahhhhhh......"

Jin Yang: "Ok, I'll talk to you later."

Tong Yao: "Ok, bye. Enjoy your date."

Jin Yang: "Bye....."

As soon as she cuts the call, Da Bing and little shallot come running towards her and begin to bunt their head on Tong Yao's legs.

Tong Yao smiles seeing her two cute cats and picks them up in her lap.

She realises that it had been a long time since she took her cats out for a walk. She finds that this is the best thing for her to do right now.

After playing with her cats for a while, she goes to her room and changes into some nice clothes to go out.

Then she takes her cats out for a walk.

At the park

Lee Nian was out to walk his dog, along with Wen Sheng.

They were just normally talking when Lee Nian suddenly spots Tong Yao at the park with her two cats. "Isn't that your Tong Yao?" he says to Wen Sheng, pointing at her.

Wen Sheng quickly looks out at the girl. "Yes, it's her...." he says in an excited voice.

Lee Nian: "Bro, just go and talk to her. Tell her that you like her. It might be possible that she likes you too. Go! Take the dog with you."

Wen Sheng: "But--"

"No, buts. Just go." Lee Nian says pushing him in Tong Yao's direction.

Wen Sheng takes a deep breath and finally approaches Tong Yao while Lee Nian hides behind a tree to watch his friend.

Seeing Wen Sheng approaching, Tong Yao smiles, saying, "Hi!"

Wen Sheng smiles back and says, "Hi! You're here for pet walk too?"

Tong Yao: "Yeah, it's been a while since I walked them out. It's weekend and I'm free. So came here with them...."

They talk to each other while walking their pets.

A while later, they sit down at one the benches at the park.

Wen Sheng starts, "Actually, I wanted to talk to you about something....."

Tong Yao: "Hmm? What do you want to talk about?"

He takes a deep breath before saying it......

"Actually...... I like you....."

Sorry, guys. I know I'm a little late.... Was just a little busy 😁😅...... How are you all? Enjoying?..... Well..... I know this is worse than expectations after a long break. But I promise I'll write more romantic chapters after a few (boring) chapters..... And here's a spoiler: Tong Yao and Lu Sicheng will almost have a quarrel because of Wen Sheng..... That's it.
