Wednesday afternoon on October 14th, Cosvin was spending her detention days alone in the library. She was reading a bit on a few other things, but mainly greek mythology. That's where she was reading the tragic story about Orpheus and Eurydice. Cosvin was so engrossed in the story that it seemed like she forgot about everything else outside of the library. It wasn't only for one story, but as well with the rest of the stories she had read into it.. 'don't look back' is a good advice as it is, but it wasn't a fortunate story that Orpheus has lost her into the Underworld.
As this thought crossed her mind, Cosvin looked up from the book and scanned her surroundings. She suddenly noticed a figure across the room, who appeared to be watching her. As Cosvin looked up from the book, she noticed a clock in the middle of the library. She went close to it to check the time, and that's when her heart skipped a beat. She saw a few black widows coming from the clock.
Cosvin immediately froze in place, terrified at the sight. She knew that black widows were deadly poisonous spiders, and she didn't want to risk getting poisoned. She stood there for a moment, paralyzed by fear. But she knew that she had to do something, quickly she was going to talk to the Librarian.
"Uh sir I was wondering why there was a clock on the.." She looked back to see the same area again and it turns out that there was no clock anymore in the library..
"Nevermind.." She said as she went off. She was not feeling so easy, as if something was not right here. She shook off the feeling and brushed it off, chalking it up to her imagination.

When she went home on that day, setting out her bag to her room. She knew that no sibling of hers were back home because they were all at school-- at some point, she remembered how her Mother asked why she was suspended, but it was due to the fighting she had to face with jerk-Caitlin. She already knew to the fact her Mother sighed, and tell her to pay no mind to bullies. She also tried to take the mind the other day talking to the principle to ask why she had to be suspended when the other kid harassed her daughter- but there was no solution to either way.
"This isn't fair--" her mother hissed at the principle. "She did nothing wrong, she told me these kids are harassing her!"
"I apologize Mrs. Parrel but, this is how we work" Principal Higgins said, trying to remain calm.
"Again this isn't fair. She didn't do anything wrong to anyone, it's not fair that she's being punished.. but okay" She gave up, after she tried to protest a couple of times. The principle didn't say anything else but a 'have a good day Mrs. Parrel'
Snapping to her thoughts, Cosvin thought during home this is the opportunity to read more of the Mythology book she had from her uncle, and the books she gotten from the library, but suddenly there was the phone ringing before she headed to answer it-
"Gloria?" The voice of a girl sounded familiar to her.
"Yes hello..??" Cosvin answered as she listened on the dial.
