We spent half of the day together. We went out for breakfast, then the mall and movies. We got home around 5:00.

"I'm taking a nap." Kai said going upstairs.

Jacob turned on his game. "Wanna play my new game daddy? It's called the crew."

"Sure." Chres said sitting down. "What is it about?"

Ariana looked at me. "Can I go to the pool?"

"Sure but let me talk to you for a second." I said.

We walked upstairs into her room. "You haven't said a word to your father since he been here. Everything okay?"
She nodded. "Yes ma'am."

"You sure?"

She grabbed one of her swimsuits. "Yup."

"Well I want you to go talk to him."

She scoffed. "Maybe later."

"Now Sapphire." I demanded. "Or no pool."

She sighed deeply. "Whatever." She groaned. She walked halfway down the steps. "Hi daddy, glad to see your outta jail." She fake smiled before coming back upstairs.

"Daddy you were in jail?" Jacob asked.

I gave Ariana a death glare. "You would never. What did he do to you to make you so angry at him!"

"He said that I'm not allowed to like Kamren because he's like family!" She hollered. "And he's not family at all!"

I sighed deeply. "All of this is over Kamren?"

She sat on her bed. "You don't get it mom I really like him. And daddy is going to do everything he can to stop our connection now that he's out."

I rubbed my fingers through her color changed curly hair. "Babygirl he's only trying to help. Kam is sorta like family, so I agree with that. You can like any other boy besides-"

She stood up. "I knew you wouldn't understand." She said before leaving the room and onto the elevator.

I walked into the house with Faith in her carseat. I sat her on the kitchen table and started to wash my hands. After that, I made me a sandwich and sat in a stool.

"Breaunna!"

I jumped up nearly falling out my seat. "Y-y-yes?"

Justin angrily walked into the kitchen. "Where's my tie that matches this suit!"

I looked at his attire, he had on a grey suit with blue shoes. "D-d-did you c-c-check your tie d-d-drawer?"

He walked towards me. "Yes and it wasnt in there so I'm asking you!" He pushed me against the wall and had his hand on my throat.

I tried getting out his grip. "I'll l-l-look just l-l-let me go p-p-please."

He let me go forcefully causing he to fall on the ground. "Hurry up I got an interview in 20 minutes!"

I was laying in bed, thinking of Ariana. She changed so much and I don't know if that's good or bad. I'm worried about her, I don't want her to hate her dad over a boy. Especially Kam.

"Am I interuppting?"

I looked at the door and saw Chres. "Of course not." I smiled lightly.

"Man I missed this place." He laid beside me. "And I missed you." He kissed me deeply which turned into making out.

I stopped suddenly. "I'm worried about Ari."

"Why?" He sat up. "She's 11, she goes through phases. She'll be okay."

"But I don't think this is a phase." I sat up too. "She's been like this since you left."

He sighed. "Let me guess, Kamren?"

I nodded. "She really likes him. She told me."

"So you think it would okay if she dates him?" He asked.

I shrugged. "I-I don't know. I just don't want her to fall in love so fast, because I think that what it is."

"Well it's not like she's the only one. Kamren likes her too."

I looked at him. "Really?"

He nodded.

I thought for a moment. "Then maybe we should let them experience this."

"What?" He got out of bed. "That's stupid."

"No it's not baby." I got out too. "They like eachother, and they're eachothers first crush. They can see how it works, It won't last. We just have to act supportive."

He scoffed. "I don't know about all of that she's only 11 and-"

"Overprotective." I smiled. "I like that, but just let it go for a couple days." I kissed him lightly then put my arms on his shoulder. "Can you do that for me daddy?" I whispered.

He moaned lowly. "I'll try." He kissed me and I let go. "We should go out."

"Tonight?"

He nodded. "Bahja would watch the- I'll call Kate for the kids."

"Why'd you say Kate instead of Bahja." I laughed.

He pulled out his phone. "Because she's the babtsitter."

"Or because you don't want Kam & Ari to be around eachother." I chuckled. "Don't bother Kate, I'll go over Bahja's and ask. I haven't heard from her in a minute anyways."

I put on my flops and walked downstairs. Jacob was playing the game still.

"J go look at the camera in see if Ari is still at the pool." I demanded.

He put the controller down. "Okay."

I walked out the house and next door. I knocked for a second until Kam answered.

"Hey Mrs. August." He greeted.

"Hey Kam." I smiled. "Is your mother here?"

He nodded no.

I sighed. "Where is she?"

He shrugged. "Ask Justice." He said before closing the door.

Justice? I knocked on the door again- he didn't answer. "Kam!" I said knocking on the door. I banged on the door repeadtly before getting interuppted.

"Yn? What you doing?"

I turned around and saw Bahja. I sighed in relief. "My god I thought something happened to you." I hugged her tight. "Can you watch the kids tonight?"

"Sure!" she smiled.

"Thanks, I'll tell them to come over."

"Oh-no." She stopped me. "I'll be over there in 5 minutes."

I shrugged. "Okay, thanks again love."
