Yn
After leaving the prison, I decided to go grab something to eat at Waffle House. I pulled in the parking lot and went inside, I sat at a booth and looked at the menu. I soon saw what I wanted, blueberry waffles and egg whites.
"Yn?"
I looked up and saw India's boyfriend, I smiled lightly. "I remember you but not your name." I laughed.
"Michael." He laughed back. "How are you?"
"I'm good." I put the menu down. "How about yourself?"
He sighed. "Trying to hold up, with Indie on my hands and football it's kinda stressful."
"I thought you and India was perfect, there's something wrong?"
He looked at me. "Haven't you talked to her?"
I shook my head no. "Not for a while actually."
He sat in the booth across from me. "I'm ready." He admitted. "But she isn't, when do you think she will be?"
"Ready for what first off."
"Marriage!" He whined. "And a family."
"She already had that." I blurted out.
He rolled his eyes. "With that basketball player, right?"
I nodded. "Yeah Rayan."
"Why do you think she isn't ready?" He asked.
I thought for a moment. "Well India was married and he cheated on her alot of times and she had a miscarriage. She's probably afraid that it'll happen again. She's not ready and you heave to respect that."
He stood up. "Thanks for the advice, I'll tell her I saw you."
I waved bye. "Okay."
The waiter came to the table. "Hi I'm Daphne, may I take your order?"
Chresanto
I waved bye to the kids. "I'll see you guys later!"
Kai and Jacob said okay while Ariana walked away, I guess she's still mad about that Kam situation but I didn't care. She's lucky I even let her around that guy. I walked to my car and got inside.
I pulled off and drove to the studio, on my way there I was thinking of Yn. She pissed me off lastnight, it was like she didn't understand what I was coming from. I didn't want to go back to jail, especially for two whole weeks.
20 minutes later I was at the studio. I got out the car and went inside, I signed in and went in the studio where Chris was.
"Wassup man." I gave him dap.
"Shit, trynna finish this new song."
I sat in a chair. "What's it called?"
"New Flame." He announced. "I have my verses done I'm just waiting on Usher to send in his." He sighed. "It's hard to get in touch with that nigga!" He laughed.
I laughed to. "When our song dropping?" I asked.
"This week." He flipped pages in a notebook. "Sometime this week, it just has to be promoted."
I nodded and looked around. "Where's Craig?" I asked.
He shrugged. "Running late I guess."
"We'll let me hear what you got until he comes." I suggested.
He went over to the board and began to play New Flame.
There can be one only you
And, baby, God can never make two
And I know you came here with your crew
But I promise you that it feels like it's just us two, aha.
Oh, I don't know what you had planned to do tonight
But I just wanna be the one to do you right, right
And we're standing here looking at each other, baby, eye to eye
And I'm hoping that you're thinking about leaving with me tonight
Who said you can't find love in the club?
'Cause I wanna tell them they're wrong
Come on, just, baby, try a new thing
And let's spark a new flame
You gon' be my baby
Love me, love you crazy
Tell me if you with it
Baby, come and get it
Try a new thing
And let's spark a new flame
He stopped it and and looked at me. "Whatchu think bro?"
"It's tight." I admitted.
"Thanks." He sat down. "So what's going on with you?"
I sighed deeply. "So much."
"I saw that video." He laughed. "You're wanted. You need to turn yourself in."
I scoffed. "You sound just like Yn."
"Well what does she think about it?"
I thought about her for a moment. "She's hurt." I said. "I know she's hurt."
"She has the right to be."
I looked at him and scrunched my eyebrow. "What made you say that?"
"Roc you don't understand bro. Your kids have phones, laptops, iPads and shit like that right?" He asked.
I nodded.
"What if they see the video?" He leaned back in this chair. "What if someone sends Ariana a link or tag Kai on Facebook. You'll be embarrassed."
"Well what should I do? Yn isn't talking to me and I'm not talking to her. I guess were in a argument, but I don't wanna be."
"Talk to her." He advised.
"She don't wanna talk to me man." I said sounding irritated. "And I don't wanna be the first to crack."
Before he could reply Craig bust through the door. He sat his things down and looked at us. "Wassup y'all, sorry I'm late."
Chris gave him dap. "It's cool bro."
He looked at me. "What's going on MMA fighter." Craig joked.
I rolled my eyes. "Not funny."
"So you turning yourself in of what?" He asked sitting in another chair.
I pulled my phone out my pocket. "No I'm not but it'll help you guys just get off the subject."
"Nah I ain't getting off the subject." Chris said seriously.
"Yeah me either." Craig agreed. "Man up, jail isn't that bad."
I looked at him. "Yeah and how do you know? You never been."
"Neither have you." He laughed.
"Actually I was for like twenty minutes." I said quickly. "Remember when I went to jail that night Yn bailed me out cause Justice ain't have the money?"
"That didn't count." He chuckled. "You weren't in a actual cell with someone. You were at a police station not prison."
"Yeah well it counts to me."
"If you wanna know what it's like." He started. "Just ask Chris." He looked at him. "You've been there a few times right?" He joked.
"Oh yeah the Rih Rih situation." I chuckled.
Chris smacked his teeth. "This isn't about me it's about Roc."
"Oh yeah." Craig looked at me. "Go ahead and turn yourself in."
"But first talk to your wife." Chris added.
I shook my head in disbelief. "Man y'all folks crazy."
