The dreaded time had come. The time of coughing, sneezing, runny noses, and itchy eyes.

Spring. *Shivers in disgust*

You had experienced allergies all your life, but you had learned how to deal with it. You just wished it would have come at a different time. Today was the day that you were finally going to see your long time friend, Greece! You hadn't seen him in years, and it was fair to say that you were pretty excited.

Okay, so maybe you were bouncing off the walls... I wonder if he's going to be any different? I sure hope not, you wondered as you got the last of your stuff together.

You were ready to go, so you headed off to Greece's house, excitement and a little nervousness rolling off of you.

You arrived, and to no one's surprise, you did not find him in his home, but rather outside in the field of broken architecture behind his home. He sat on a grassy hill, back towards you, so you walked up as quietly as possible. When you inched forward to see his face, you saw his eyes shut and his mouth slightly open.

You chuckled a little. He's taking a nap, of course! In his--you must add--strong arms was an adorable light brown kitten, curled up into his chest.

Your gaze softened at the sight of him. You were going to reach down and pet the kitten, or Greece, who really knows, when his eyes fluttered open.

His expression was lazy, and he slowly raised his eyes up to yours.

"(Y/n)?" You nodded your head, a slight blush crawling to your cheeks at the sight of his beautiful green eyes. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm here to see you, silly! We haven't talked in so long, so I decided to come over."

"Oh, it's nice to see you again. Please, sit down," Greece's words were slow and carried no real change in tone, but you didn't mind much. This was normal. You watched as he lifted his arm from it's place on the kitten and gestured to the space next to him. You plopped down, and the sudden movement frightened the kitten awake.

A smile hit your face at the sight of the adorable little ball of fur. Greece saw this out of the corner of his eyes, and picked the cat up and held it out to you.

"Here. She's really nice."

A light blush dusted your face and you gently took the kitten into your arms, nearly squealing when she squinted her eyes and let out a tiny meow.

"Oh, she's so adorable!" You rubbed your cheek against the kitten's soft fur, and you suddenly began to notice a familiar feeling bubbling up. A very familiar and unwelcome tickle that you couldn't stop from coming out.

"AH-ACHOO!"

Oh no. No no no no no!

Your eyes widened as the realization hit you like a ton of bricks. "I-I'm allergic to cats?" Wait, that can't be right, I've been around cats before without any problems. You were confused, and refused to believe it, but another sneeze ripped through your body, proving the unfortunate fact. You sighed in defeat. You turned your gaze back to Greece and found him staring at you with slightly wider eyes, shifting from the animal in your arms back to you.

After a minute, he abruptly swung his head away from you and glared at the grassy floor, seeming to be deep in thought. You were a bit surprised at seeing him so worked up over something other than Turkey. A few more moments passed before he let out a grunt.
