It's now the next day at work and you're anxious, already awaiting Jieun's questions about yesterday and why you decided not to go.

Biting onto your lower lip, you anxiously glance around the office for a moment.

As you scan the room, you notice that she is nowhere to be seen and let out a soft breath of relief before turning your attention back to your monitor. You get back into the zone with your work and continue tying out the reports that Namjoon and Mr. Kim need by the end of the week.

As you get back into the zone of tying out numbers, your mind starts drifting off as you grow bored and tired of looking at the same report that you've been looking at since 8 in the morning today. It's already almost 12:30 and you've yet to work on anything remotely interesting.

Sighing to yourself, you start thinking about what you want to eat.

"Y/N!" you suddenly hear, causing your body to jolt slightly in your seat, shoulders tensing up as you widen your eyes and look at the direction of where the voice emerged from.

Jieun.

Shit, you thought you could avoid it a little longer.

"Hi, Jieun." You say while awkwardly smiling. She grins down at you before leaning her hip against the side of your desk. Her hand finds its way onto your desk as you look up at her.

"How are you doing? I was a little worried when you called in sick yesterday and didn't make it to the recording studio." She expresses her concern while slightly tilting her head to the side. "Are you doing okay?" You smile softly at her kind heart and nod your head.

"I'm doing okay, Jieun. Just had a really rough weekend and needed an extra day to get over whatever cold I had." You say before shrugging a shoulder. "It's really nothing to worry about at all." You respond, this causes her to nod her head and let out a breath of relief. You smile up at her as you see her worry leaving her body.

"Okay, good." She says before clearing her throat for a second. "So, would you like to grab lunch with me today? I was thinking I could ditch my bagged lunch for the day and stop by a stop-and-shop kind of thing to pick something better up."

You glance at your monitor and stare at the work that you're doing. You take a deep breath before realizing that you definitely need a break in order to keep staring at these same numbers for the rest of the day.

"You know what... yeah, that sounds incredible." You say before softly smiling. "Can we head out now though? I think I'm losing a touch of my personality staring at this report honestly." This statement causes Jieun to let out a loud laugh before nodding her head.

"Yeah, grab your stuff, let's head out!" She exclaims. You nod your head in agreement before locking your computer and grabbing your bag immediately.

You two walk out of the front entrance of the office building and start walking along the sidewalk towards the nearest convenience store.

As you walk, you notice that it's far more crowded than you thought it would be at this time of the day. There's many faces with many different looks. Some overdressed in suits, likely lawyers on their way to a client's trial. Some underdressed in yoga pants and tank tops, likely rich housewives who just finished their morning spin class. Some wandering around in wrinkled shirts and jeans, likely going home after a late night Monday binge-drinking session.

While walking, your mind immediately drifts off to Yoongi.

Out of how many people there are in this world, people like these that you're crossing paths with while on your way to grab some food, you cross paths with Yoongi in the most strangest of ways.
