Insomnia

Trevors POV:

I sighed as I shut the lid of the computer I'd just finished editing the latest episode of disventure camp no thanks to Derek, I'm so getting him back for this.

"DEREK IVE FINISHED EDITING THE EPISODE!"

I shout a few seconds later I get a response

"ahh jeez man I'm right here no need to shout"

Derek was in a bad mood due to the fact he hasn't slept in days

"sorry I thought you would be at your desk, are you ok? You look exhausted"

"My meds aren't working, I haven't slept in days"

"Derek you should probably go see a doctor about that"

I say with concern because well I was concerned his insomnia was only getting worse

"look Trevor you don't have to worry about me I'm fine"

"You're clearly not though, you do know that you can talk to me right, we've known each other since Highschool!"

"Look Trevor I'm not in the mood I'm going to bed"

He says in a drained voice even though I wanted to argue back I respected his wishes. And he goes to his room. Now alone I pull out my phone and decide to text my friend Emily.

OVER TEXT (Emily is italic and Trevor is normal)

"Heyyyyyyyyyy"

"Hiiiiiiiiiii"

"Hru?"

"I'm good how are you?"

"I'm fine ig  just wanted to see how your doing"

"Ig? What's up"

"Dereks insomnia is getting worse again I'm really worried about him"

"Again? He really needs to see someone about this"

"I KNOW RIGHT!? But he won't listen to me and I'm gonna be honest he doesn't talk to anyone else so if he's not listening to me he's not going to listen to anyone else"

"Well I'm glad you can talk to me about it I don't want you to have to suffer with Dereks problems alone"

"Of course, you're my best friend!"

"Then what's Derek?"

"He's also my best friend!"

"Or maybe he's something more? 😏"

"What are you implying!?"

"Oh come on I know you like him!"

"I DO NOTTTTT"

"YOU SO DO!"

"I DONT (also do you want to hang out tomorrow I have the day off)"

"YOU DO (ofc what do you want to do?)"

"I thought we could hang out at the mall that sound good to you?"

"Yeah that sounds great (YOU DIDNT DENY IT THAT TIME I WIN)"

"SHIT NO"

"HAHAHAHAHHAH"

"Ok bye Emily"

I turned my phone off and decided that I was also going to go to bed now.
