Pool

TREVORS POV:

I wake up with Derek in my arms the sun peaking through the blinds normally I would get up get ready and make breakfast but this was nice I didn't want to move and ruin the moment so I just lay there not even adjust the blinds.

After 30 minutes of not moving I finally get up and Derek rolls over still asleep surprisingly he looks silly his mouth half open with bed hair I reach for my phone and take a photo I can't wait to show him this later.

I get out of my pyjamas and into my day clothes and go into the kitchen and get myself a cup of apple juice sit down and scroll through my phone nothing new same old news so I go to text Emily

"Heyyyyyyyy"

"Why r u texting me so early (HIIII)"

"Heh you know me early bird"

"You wanna hangout today????"

"Sorry going swimming with Derek but we could get coffee tmr if you're free?"

"yeah that sounds great!"

"Oki see you then"

"See you!"

I sigh and close my phone, Derek walks in.

"Hi babe"

Derek says groggily hadden just woken up

"Hey"

I get up and give him a kiss

"What do you want for breakfast?"

I ask

"Pancakes"

he says very decisively

"Pancakes it is!"

I pull out some left over pancake mix that was in the fridge from Saturday.

"I made sure to book the pool. you know how busy it is"

I say

"Thanks it's been a long time since I've been swimming. But why couldn't have we just swam in the lake here?"

"I didn't want to run into any of the contestants we should try to keep a professional relationship with them"

"True they don't need to know about our personal life"

I flip the pancake with my pro chef skills

"Trevs is it nearly ready it smells SO good"

Derek whines

"Nearly be patient"

I laugh

After a few minutes the pancakes are ready I pile them onto the plate and place them where Derek is sitting

"Are you not eating trevs?"

"Nah I'm not hungry"

"Ok more for me!"

TIME SKIP (at the pool)

Me and Derek go into the changing rooms and into two stalls next to each other and get changed into our swim stuff

We meet outside and I grab his hand and lead him to the pool.

I was really excited there wasn't much I could do in prison and something I really missed was swimming the only problem is that there is some lady staring at us but I'm sure it's nothing she's probably zoned out and staring into space.

I enter the pool and plunge my head under the water to get used to the temperature whilst Derek is still on the steps complaining about how it's cold

"It's freezing"

"Scaredy cat"

"HEY I'm not a scaredy cat"

"Prove it"

Derek jumps in splashing me

"HEY"

I shout quietly cause I don't want to disturb anyone

Derek just laughs at me and his laugh is contagious so I start laughing with him

When we finish laughing we start actually swimming racing each other and just having fun

Eventually the women who was staring at us earlier came in we had no problems for about five minutes then she walked up to us well swam

"You two might want to stop holding hands someone might thing you're a fvggot"

I was speechless thankfully Derek did the talking for me

"What happened to hello (he sighs) and what if we are "fvggots""

"Then your going to hell"

She says plainly

"Oh no I'm so threatened by a place I don't even believe exists"

"You know he's always watching"

"Who"

"The lord! I just want the best for you two you could easily get girlfriends if you tried"

"Well our life is none of your business how does it affect you if we go to hell?"

"It- I- I guess it doesn't"

"Can you bloody leave us alone then"

"Fine but remember-"

"I know he's watching"

The lady swims off and gets out the pool

"The nerve of some people"

"ahhh that was so amazing"

"What?"

"The way you knew what to say"

"I am pretty cool aren't I"

"Oh shut up"

I give him a whack on the head

"Hey not the hair"

We laugh

"Come one we should go I don't want anymore unwanted interactions"

"You can say that again"
