It was rather as simple day. It is almost dusk, the sun was almost setting. He was alone and the sky is dark. He did not know what happened, but then he found himself at the side of Burnham park's lake. Maybe because he was walking to oblivion? Mind flying to nowhere and everywhere at the same time? He does not know.
He was located at a little shed. There are many people as it is threatening to rain heavy. He stood at the side, slowly being pushed to the very edge. But he did not expect what happened next.
It was like these people does not know he was there as he constantly get pushed to the very edge- and then he fell. There was a yelp that escaped his mouth. He was sure of that. But somehow, no one helped him. As if time itself stopped. But he was sure of the second his body hit the water below.
'That was a very dramatic fall.' He thought to himself. Well, what else? Could he really speak after that type of fall? Or even after hitting the water itself? After being enveloped by the cold? No, he could not. He cannot find his voice at the moment.
"And then? What happened next?" I inquired, all to caught up to his story. At least he knows what happened. And how it happened.
We are now inside my room. At least the one designated for me. I wondered why they did not just place me here when I lost consciousness but apparently, I was the only one capable of opening this door for the first time. Not even someone with the key could open it unless I gave them explicit instruction to. Well, that is one well secured area, ain't it just?
"Then here I am."
"What?" I was confused.
"I lost consciousness, somewhat, I think. I do not remember much of it but I lost consciousness and then woke up here."
"In this exact room?"
"Of course not! Silly girl! In my room. The one designated for me."
"Oh, right..."
"And he was the one who helped me cope, along with the others, that is. He introduced me to them, or more like forced me to them. But well, here I am. And I strive."
"How long have you been here again?"
"I have no idea. Probably a month? Or two? Maybe three?"
"And you arrive here the day our classes got canceled, did you not?"
"Yep."
"Welp, what bliss. Same."
"What do you mean?" He asked as he turned his head towards me.
"That same day, I think, when I arrived here. I have no idea how nor what happened. All I know is that I was walking one evening and woke here."
"In this exact same place?" I looked at him as placid as I could. "Told you that was a dumb question!" He exclaimed and then laughed. This piece of a human!
"Yeah okay no. I woke up in the rival university, actually-"
"The Xyntilliet Academy!?" He shouted and almost stood up from his seat. I raised my hand and pulled him down to shush him. "Xyntilliet Academy?" He asked in a hushed tone this time.
"Yep, that one."
"But why?!" I shrug my shoulders at him.
"I have no idea. I don't even know why I was there in the first place. Though it was a whole damn dream even!" I intoned. "Welp, turns out it is very real." I sigh. "Now tell me, you are here. Do you know what type of magic to you have?"
