It seems like this was why Charlotte came to his office. She wanted to tell him about Fontaine's Fear most recent crime, or at least something related to it, but she got carried away with the video footage. After all, it was indeed something you would wish to forget about, but to forget about it so easily? Did she do it on purpose? It really wasn't time for this type of thoughts, but Neuvillette couldn't help but wonder...
No. It couldn't be. He shrugged and looked at the person standing at the entrance.

The one who came barging into the office was none other than Lyney. He looked devastated, as he was panting. He seemed out of breath and had visible cuts on his face. His outfit was full of dust, and his hair was all messed up. He looked straight from a horror movie. What actually happened? What had that man done that got Lyney so freaked out? He looked at Lyney and gestured for him to keep talking. The boy understood and tried to calm himself down, but it was pointless.

'Monsieur Neuvillette, it's bad! Like, really, really bad! The Opera Epiclese... It's gone! And so is Freminet!'

As if in denial, Neuvillette shook his head.

'Charlotte, is this what you wanted to tell me but forgot? How did you manage to forget such an important thing?' He sounded mad. He tried his best to keep calm, but it was just too stressful. The Opera Epiclese and Freminet? Gone? How? What exactly happened?

'Monsieur... please calm down! I didn't know it really was gone! I just heard an explosion, so I came as fast as I could to inform you!'
The pink haired girl sounded scared. If anything, she did not want to annoy Neuvillette. An explosion? That worried Neuvillette even more

'Lyney, what exactly had happened at the Opera Epiclese? Is it safe to go there?'

Lyney seemed to have calmed down a little bit.
'For instance, I don't think we can go investigate just yet, the place is all burned down and is currently getting cleaned up. We called for help to stop the fire as soon as possible. We did stop the fire, but the place is still highly damaged. I don't think it can be used again any time soon.'

Fire? Burned down? What was this kid talking about? The Opera Epiclese... on fire? Neuvillette's job without the Opera Epiclese was completely useless. Fontaine without the Opera Epiclese was completely useless as well.

Opera Epiclese was a place known for its breathtaking courts that took place in there, along with the magic shows held by Lyney and his twin sister Lynette. Two jobs were already lost because of a stupid fire.

The boy cleared his throat and started talking again.
'Monsieur Neuvillette, I think you should know I was supposed to hold a magic performance tonight.' He paused for a second, dusting off his shirt, then continued. 'As I was rehearsing with my sister Lynette as usual, a strange man slowly made his way to the front seats. He then sat next to Freminet. We didn't tell the man to leave, but we did tell him to change seats since we know how Freminet doesn't enjoy unwanted attention.'

Charlotte placed her hand under her chin, as she was thinking. She didn't let Lyney continue and asked. 'How come you didn't send the man off? Weren't the two of you rehearsing for a magic show? Wouldn't watching the rehearse just spoil all the fun?'

Lyney laughed. 'Well, we sometimes let people watch us rehearsing so they can praise us for doing such a good job even while just rehearsing. We never sent people off for watching us, so we didn't send the strange man either.' Charlotte sighed and probably thought 'how can you even laugh in such a situation'. Lyney continued his explanation.
