Chapter 12: Wet 🍋

It was raining.

Why?

Well- that's because the water droplets made from the atmospheric water vapour condensed enough to be so heavy that they- wait, why am I explaining this?

I suppose I meant - why did it have to be raining when I unfortunately forgot my umbrella, and Suzune unfortunately also forgot hers? "All the spare umbrellas have been taken." Suzune sighed, looking at the rain and then back at me after she had just went and checked for umbrellas.

"Shall we run?" I asked.

"We'd get heavily drenched either way seeing as the dorms are 15 minutes away." This time, it was my turn to sigh.

We grabbed our school bags and put them on top of our heads, "Let's at least try not to get so wet." I said, looking at her as she laughed at me. I was confused as to why she was laughing, but I did not question it.

We started walking and I already found it a hindrance. Although, I looked to my right side and saw an already soaked Suzune, it's not such a bad thing. "Your top is see through." A pink bra. I respect it.

"Idiot!" She hit me.

"Aggression really is your love language isn't it?" I sighed. I did not mind it though. Her hits were quite... weak. Perhaps it's because she did not intend to injure me - she does do martial arts after all.

She simply turned her head and 'hmphed'. I noticed that we were extremely close to Pallet Café so I dragged her inside, thankfully, we found a table seeing as many also stopped here on the way to the dorms.

I pulled out the chair for her and she sat down, tucking herself into the table. Before I sat down, I tilted her chin up and planted a small kiss on her lips, "Don't be mad at me." I said, walking around and then sitting opposite her (who was furiously blushing).

"Pervert." Ouch.

"Comparing me to Ike and Yamauchi? Is that how low you think of your boyfriend?" I raised an eyebrow and she rolled her eyes. I find myself quite... amusing.

"You're paying." I should've seen this coming. I accepted defeat as she ordered her overly sweet Caramel Frappuccino whilst I order my usual black coffee.

"You're cute." I hummed as she happily drank her somewhat coffee. It was not a lie. She was in fact, cute. Especially after she had changed into this Suzune that I hold dear. Though, I do miss her constant firey attitude. Compass. Never mind. I much prefer now where I have to encounter that monster less frequently... though... she has been threatening me with it more.

"Shut up."

Critical hit.

She doesn't mean it though, and that's evident from the smile that's behind her sipping her drink.

My eyes drifted towards her chest where I could still see her bra, "My eyes are up here." Her voice almost startled me, but I did not falter in my speech.

"Yes. I know." I replied hastily, still not making eye contact.

Suddenly, she leaned into my ear, "If you want to see more just ask." My breath hitched and if I was drinking my coffee I would have most definitely choked on it. "Just joking." She said after a pause. Was she doing this on purpose? Making my heart race to the point it hurt? Making my male hormones go crazy?

Just as she was about to lean away, I grabbed her arm and pulled her close again, whispering in her ear, "Don't tempt me." I said, "Just joking." I copied her. I was not infact joking should she wish to continue tempting me.
