Chapter 26 || House-Husband Kiyotaka

KIYOTAKA's POV

A little girl ran down the aisle, throwing small petals around whilst laughing with a large grin on her face truly showing her excitement for the day.

"Daddy!" The little girl exclaimed and I instinctively bent down to hug her whilst ruffling her hair.

"Wow Kiyotaka, getting married eh?" Akito nudged me on the side and then I broke the hug between my daughter and I.

And then the music started playing - the doors opened. My heart stammered seeing the bride walk down the aisle - a beautiful white dress that trailed behind her.

"Hey." She whispered to me under her breath as she reached where I standing.

"Hey to you too." I replied, grabbing a hold of her hand.

"Wake up."

"Hm?"

"Wake up- wake up or I'm going to stab you." My eyes darted open. Whenever I sensed a presence around me, my body would always immediately wake up but now? I suppose it's because I sense no real danger from Suzune.

"I'm awake." I said, opening one eye to see her straddling me with her arms beside my head, "Well, this is something enjoyable to wake up to." I moved a strand of hair that had fallen onto my face, "Although your hair is tickling me."

"We've finished our first year~!" She said, "And we managed to become Class B."

"Did you wake me up to tell me things that I already know?"

"Are you trying to get me to stab you? I am in control here-!" I swiftly grabbed her arms and used my leg to flip us so that I was above her.

"Who's in control? Please, do tell." She tried to get out of my grip so she could pull her compass out of who knows where but she failed miserably, "I am stronger than you, you do realise that." She giggled. How adorable.

"Oh no~! What is a vulnerable young maiden like me going to do when a handsome strong man has me under captivity?!" She dramatically exclaimed, a small smile appearing on her delicate face as she played around with me, a light blush coating her cheeks. She was adorable.

I noticed how happy she seemed which made me feel comfortable knowing that she wasn't stuck in the past and has moved past it all. Many people do need to talk it out to someone, when you're bottling up your emotions, it gets to the point where the lid comes off in a sudden burst because the bottle is too big and that is seemingly what happened to Suzune. Everything being thrown at her and she still stayed strong until it was the two of us alone where she finally felt comfortable enough to explain. I genuinely was proud of her.

I leaned my head inwards and left a trail of kisses up her neck, to her jawline and then her cheek, leaving the best til last and placing a gentle kiss on her lips, "This - quote unquote 'handsome strong man' has decided to let you roam free among his quarters." I said, loosening my grip and then getting off of her - to which she immediately got up and walked to the other side of the room, potentially embarrassed.

"I want you to make breakfast, which is the main reason I woke you up." She muttered, a blush spreading across her porcelain skin. Then, I looked at what she was wearing which was by far a little amount of clothes - a pair of dark red lingerie. Erotic, if I must describe it.

"You've gotten comfortable walking around like that haven't you? You do realise that a lot of people have my ke-."

"Yoohoo~! Ki-yo-pon we've come to wake you up to finally have a day out with us- oh~?" Haruka then covered Akito's and Keisei's eyes with her hands before they could see anything, "Looking sexy as always Hori-chan!" She winked at Suzune whose face turned a brighter red than it was before-hand. Akito and Keisei immediately turned around so they wouldn't see anything by chance, respectfully.
