" isabella!" My grandma exclaimed as she saw me.

" hi grandma!" I laughed as I hugged her.

" isabella." My cousin from my moms side hissed.

" how nice to see you." My cousin from my dads side rolled her eyes at me and bit back a smile as she eyed my other cousin.

I greeted the rest of the family and then went to the kitchen.

" need any help?" I asked as I leaned my hip on the counter.

" Please bring the plates to the table." Mom pleaded, handing me the plates and giving me a big smile before I left.

" Theres the birthday girl!" My uncle shouted as I entered.

" how's school going?" My auntie asked as I set the plates infront of everyone.

" good actually , i'm volleyball captain and have good grades" I stated as I finished setting the table.

" thats amazing!" Most of the adults exclaimed.

" yeah becuse isabella peréz is just so amazing!" My cousin whined, throwing her head back and rolling her eyes.

" how are your grades?" I glared at her with a fake smile. She kept quiet and stared down at the plate infront of her.

" thought so." I whispered and left the room to go help mom.

" need anything else?" I asked as I popped my head into the kitchen.

" nothing, have fun with your friends love!" She exclaimed and I left to go to the garden.

" how did it go?" Mads asked as I handed her a drink.

" everything was good except my cousins." I threw my head back as I whined.

"anoying weirdos." Madison hissed.

" 100% agreed." I chuckle as I sat down next to pablo.

" ISABELLA GET YOUR ANOYING ASS DOG AWAY!" I heard my cousin hiss and kick my dog out the door.

" what the fuck is wrong with you?" I hissed as I took nellie away from her.

" what the fuck is wrong with your dog?" She shot back as madison came over to take nellie away.

" please just go away." I mumbled.

" why don't I get to meet your friends?" She said as she eyed pablo.

" oh fuck off!" I hissed as I took a step to the right so she couldn't see pablo anymore.

" I'm gonna tell your mom." She mocked, crossing her arms over her chest.

" and my mom is gonna care because?"

" fuck you right back." I shot back, taking a seat next to pablo.

" how anoying." I rolled my eyes when she finally left.

" you okay baby?" I asked my dog who had jumped up in my lap.
