"Are you excited for your blind date on Saturday?" Annie leans into me with a giddy whisper.
"Hm.. Yes I guess so.. I'm a bit worried about it actually being a blind date, though, that's all." I whine quietly back, and she rolls her eyes at me.
"C'mon, it's not like it would be someone like Seungmin.." She giggles, and I jokingly pretend I throw up in my mouth.
"Oh god don't even. I would actually jump out of the window." I snorted, and Annie just grimaced back at me and agreed.
"His looks are definitely a 10, but I'd give his personality a 5.."
"A 5?! That's generous. I'd give him minus 200." I cackled. Annie really doesn't know half of the torture he has put me through. I keep it all to myself anyway as no one would believe me if I told them what he has done to me.
"I bet he's been with so many girls here. Pure fuck boy." I then added, then full-body shuddering at the thought of all the girls here being in love with him. It's sad, really.
"Hm.. Yeah more than likely.. But I feel he's the type to lead girls on for his ego and then just ditch them.. I'm so glad I'm a Lead. I don't think I could handle him being my 'superior'.
Chen is a sweetheart. I got so lucky." Annie gushed, clutching her notebook to her chest like some high school dreamer in love.
I think the idea of being 'superior' gets Seungmin hard. Like he has dominance issues.. Overpowering people like me who tend to lean towards submission.
"You are lucky. Didn't you fancy Chen when he started here as well? Back when there was no real divide between Leads and General Investigators?" I inquired with a smile, knowing she'd panic about me bringing that up again.
"Y/N! Be quiet!!" She gasped, holding her hand to my mouth to silence my giggles.
"But, yeah, it was a bit frowned upon. Glad I've been stuck with you for the last year though. I don't know how I could've got through the drama."
"You've been an amazing Lead and I've learned so much from you. Whoever I end up with is definitely a downgrade." I sighed.
