We went out for drinks straight after work
I brought Annie, and Seungmin brought along Chen, Minato, Riley, Jonny and Yua.
I felt so awkward.
I would rather anywhere else but here.
They are so cliquey, and I thought about just making a run for it with Annie, but it would only make me look rude.
"Lets get some shots?" Riley suggested, and we all agreed that might loosen things up.
Riley was pleasant enough. She is stunning... and she really loves herself, but it was always a bit draining to be around her as she always says she looks ugly, seeking validation from others all the time, knowing they'll tell her how beautiful she is.
"Well done for closing, you two." Jonny raised his glass.
I kept a subtle eye on Seungmin, and he seemed to be on his best behaviour.
"So, it turns out the worst pairing of the division actually worked the best." Minato jibed, patting Seungmins back.
"Are you sure you didn't lock Y/N in a room and do it all yourself?" He added, and I could hear Annie seething with anger. Minato just loved to stir shit up.
"Nah, in all fairness, she pulled her weight and made some good calls.." Seungmin half defended me, then winked at me as I scowled at Minato.
"..Like that outfit you wore in the bar.." He smirked at me, and my eyes grew wide.
"Mm.. You looked so good.." He teased, winking at me, and I just felt myself overcome with heat.
No way did he just say that.
He then proceeded to show a video of me dancing in front of him.
"Do you just have zero respect for me or something?" I squared up to him, and Minato put his hands on me to push me away from him.
"You can fuck off as well you fucking arse licker." I spat, and Riley and Annie couldn't stop themselves from laughing at my insult. Because it's fucking true.
"I respect that you looked sexy while not completely screwing up our case." Seungmin poked, and his eyes bore into my skull.
He is doing this on purpose.
"You misogynistic piece of shit. I got spiked and attacked only to be treated like afucking trophy wife?! I'm just as much the reason we closed as you are." I pointed into his chest, and Annie placed her hand over my shoulder to pull me back.
"Jesus, you two need separating. I see why it only took you two days.. You were clearly racing against time before one of you killed the other.." Jonny teased, and I shot an angered look directly at him.
