Aditya's POV:

After revealing the truth in front of Pihu's family she decided to divorce Shlok. Her family took her with them which was a good thing. She needed her family to be there with her. I was so angry with my family for blaming her for everything. I have shifted to my penthouse and spend most of my time in the office. I wanted to meet Pihu and talk to her but I don't know how all the important meetings are lined up. I am not even getting time to breath. Most of the days are spent at the office and sometimes nights also. I needed these deals for the company so I can't risk distractions. I wanted to be with Pihu but I am unsure if she wanted to see me.

I gave her the space that she needed so she could maybe spend some time with her family. I wanted to talk to her but my phone went missing. I am trying to track it down but nothing could be found. I checked the office records and tried to call Pihu's number but she was not picking up the call. Maybe she doesn't want to talk to some unknown number. I tried to send her a message also but still no reply. I thought she needed time to sink everything in so I gave her one.

Shlok and I are so busy handling the company that I barely get time to talk to him. Shlok is trying to find a new place to move out. I offered to stay in mine but he refused. In a recent conversation, he mentioned that today he would be meeting with Pihu for the divorce procedure in office. I thought to ask if he was talking to Pihu but I didn't want to hear yes as an answer so I am avoiding that conversation. It's better to be in some delusion rather than hearing the truth.

Today I intentionally remained in the office and cancelled all my outdoor meetings. I just needed one chance to talk to Pihu and see if she was okay or not. I don't know at what time they will be here so I asked my assistant to let me know.

I was busy with the meetings and was swarmed up with the work. I buried myself in work for straight two hours. "Ahana you can take a break for some time," I told my assistant as she was working parallelly with me.

"Ok, sir. Do you also need a coffee?" she asked me. "No, I will make it myself," since Pihu left the office I made coffee for myself only. Usually, I avoid coffee but if I needed I do it myself. I don't know but I don't like coffee made by someone else.

I came out of the room to go to the pantry which is on my floor. I drank the coffee and tried to relax for some time. I closed my eyes for some time on the sofa near the pantry. The only face that was coming was of Pihu. Oh, I just wish I could meet her for just once.

I heard some noises in the background. Opening my eyes I was shocked to see Pihu's father there. He was searching for something so I thought to help him.

"Hi Sir," I got up from the sofa and stood beside him. Sir really? Aditya, you could come up with this only. I forwarded my hand for him to shake but he looked at it and ignored it.

There goes my chance with Pihu so I tried again. "Sir, do you need any help?" I asked trying to make small talk with him.

This time he seemed to melt a little so he said "I needed some water." "Oh," I kept my coffee mug at the kitchen counter and went to bring him water.

"Here," I passed him the water which he hesitated. "It's not poison. I assure you," I tried to joke, but he did not laugh.

He drank the water and said, "Thank you." He was about to leave when I said "I need to talk to you about something."

He furrowed his eyebrow in confusion so I continued saying "It's personal about your daughter."

"I am not in a mood to listen," he told me. "Please," I pleaded to him as I needed him to hear me out just once.

"After hearing me if your decision does not change then I will happily oblige," I told him but now I have doubts about what if he denies.

"Ok I am listening," he told me and I looked around. "Maybe some other place that could be more private would be a better option," I told him.
