Pihu's POV:
Time flies fast and it has been a year since our baby girl was born. The journey has been immense stressful but we enjoyed every bit of it. Sometimes we don't know how it feels with a small kid, so we have to guess what she would like or what she is asking for. Mom and Dad have been a great help but after the baby was born they stayed here for two to three months. Then they moved back for some work. They also make trips whenever they find time. They make sure to call and talk to the baby.
"Sunflower where is Adithi?" Aditya asked coming inside the room. Yes, we named her this as it was similar to her father's name. When were searching the names we found this name so decided to go with this one. The meaning of the name is perfection and it is also the name of the Hindu deity of sky and fertility.
"Did you check her room, Aditya?" I asked him as we had made a separate room for her. She sleeps with us but in the daytime, she stays there so she can play. We have kept a mattress on the floor so she can crawl and play with her toys. My parents have spoiled her with so many toys that the room is filled with toys.
"I checked the whole room but she was not there" his words created a panic in me as to where she could have gone.
"Aditya you just have one work to do," I told her and went inside her room. "Sunflower I just went to take water for her," he told me.
I rolled my eyes at his carelessness but he has been a great help. He makes sure that I am getting enough sleep so I can't show my anger to him. We searched for her in her room. We checked the washroom and the balcony also but she could not go there as the door was heavy for her to push it.
"Adithi" I called her in case she could hear at least she could respond. "Aditya start checking the camera maybe we could see where she is," I told him. We have kept a monitoring camera in her room so we can monitor her activity.
We felt a relief when we found her sleeping in her tent which we created for her. Aditya could not find her as the tent opening was closed and she was inside in the corner of it.
"Aditya she is here," I told him and entered the tent. I went inside and kissed her on the cheek. Then I brought her outside the tent and Aditya took her in his arms.
He kissed her and said, "My princess I thought I lost you." I smiled at their bond she stirred in her sleep and said "Da-da"
"I am here princess you can sleep," he said and brought her to our room. I followed them and came inside the room.
We both sat on the bed and kept her on the bed. "Aditya I think her diaper needs to change," I told him.
He went and brought a fresh one. He changed her diaper without hesitation, and I was amazed at how perfect he had become.
She got awake and looked here and there in the room. "Ma-ma," she started blabbering and I knew she needed me.
"What happened to my princess?" he asked her and took her in his arms. She again repeated and said "Ma-ma"
"Princess are you hungry?" he asked her but she just ignored him. Then again repeated "Ma-ma"
He knows she is asking for me but he doesn't want to give her to me so he is asking all this. He feels as when he goes to the office so I get to spend more time with her. So whenever he takes off from work he tries to handle her on his own.
"My princess needs her mama," I told her and came to sit on the bed. She looked at me after hearing my voice.
She extended her arms to come towards me but Aditya was not allowing her to come. So she started crying as this was her ultimate move. She knows her Dad can't see her tears so when she needs him to give her something she cries.
