Pihu's POV:
Today I and Aditya have to go to a meeting. We will be going to a restaurant and it will be at lunchtime. He is taking me as his secretary is on leave and he needs help. So he asked me and I could not say no. I didn't know what to do but he told me he would tell me in the car.
I am finishing my last draft that needs to be submitted and get it reviewed by Aditya. The thing I like about him is he is very critical of my work. He neither let my mistakes slide away nor gave me special treatment in terms of work.
"Pihu are you ready to leave?" he asked opening the door of my office.
"Yes. Except for pen and diary do I need to take anything else for the meeting?" I asked him to collect a pen and a diary.
"Just take your laptop just in case we need anything and the file will be with them," he informed me. Collecting everything I went near him. He opened the door for me and gestured for me to walk. I walked up to the lift and pressed the button. He was standing near me typing something on his phone.
We entered the lift and pressed the basement button to go to the parking lot. He opened the car door for me and I sat on the passenger seat. I kept all the things on my lap and fastened the seatbelt. He came and sat in the driver's seat and started to drive.
"Aditya, can you tell me what I need to do there?" I asked him.
"You need to just sit and make notes of something you think is important in the meeting," he said as if it was so easy to do.
"Aditya I have never done this you could have taken someone else," I told him and checked the time.
"Pihu you can do this," he assured me while keeping his eyes on the road. We soon reached the restaurant and he opened the door for me. He kept his hand on my waist and guided me inside the restaurant.
"Booking for Aditya Kapoor," he said at the reception. The receptionist gave her a flirtatious smile and said "Sir I will guide you." Geez girl stop giving a signal he is not interested I said to myself.
Completely ignoring me she guided us to the table. "Sir you can decide and soon your waiter will be here," she said playing with a curl of her hair. I rolled my eyes at her behavior and soon she left.
"We will order once Mr. Singhania comes," he told me. Soon a man in age of 50's stood in front of us. He had white hair and was a tall man. He was not too lean nor too fat. He was dressed in formal attire and looked very friendly.
"Mr. Singahnia welcome," he shook his hand with him. "Aditya it's a pleasure to meet you," he replied and looked towards me.
"Mr. Singhania This is Pihu. She is a replacement for my secretary for today," he introduces us. Smiling I shook a hand with him and then we all took a seat.
The meeting went on for an hour and I took note of everything. "It was nice meeting you, Aditya. Hope everything goes in our favor," saying they shook their hand.
"Of course Mr. Singhania. I will draft a contract and send it to your office soon," Aditya replied to him. Then he looked towards me and said "It was nice meeting you Pihu. Hope we meet again," saying he shook his hand with me.
"Aditya, I hope we can hear the wedding bells soon," he said looking back and forth between Aditya and me.
"Oh no I am married already," I clarified to him. I did not tell him to whom I am married otherwise he will think Aditya has done partiality.
"Oh sorry. Then I must have seen wrong. To me it looked like you were in love," he told us.
Why he thought that? Maybe the old man is reading too many romance novels.
