Max, the Puppy Knight

Max stood as a majestic figure—a towering canine with fur that gleamed in the sunlight and eyes that held the wisdom of ages. Despite his imposing stature, there was a gentle warmth about him, a charm that endeared him to all who crossed his path. From the moment of his birth, Max was destined for greatness, born on the same day as the queens themselves, a fact not lost on Hearts, the enigmatic angel who watched over Mythraea from the celestial realm.

Hailing from a humble village on the outskirts of the human kingdom, Max's early days were marked by exceptional strength and intelligence. He quickly became a favorite among the villagers, his potential recognized by Baron Aric, a courageous commander who took Max under his wing. Trained to be a knight and loyal companion, Max fought valiantly alongside Baron Aric in battles against the demon forces that threatened their land.

But the toll of endless conflict weighed heavily on Max's spirit. The death and destruction he witnessed eroded his resolve, and he yearned for a life free from the horrors of war. The breaking point came during a brutal battle against the demons, where Baron Aric made the ultimate sacrifice to protect Max. Cradling his fallen friend, Max vowed to turn away from violence, seeking solace in the depths of the forest.

It was here that Hearts intervened, his watchful gaze guiding Max to the sanctuary of the druids. With their profound understanding of nature and healing, took Max in, offering him solace, healing and wisdom.  At first, Max was wary, scarred by his experiences and unsure of whom to trust. But the gentle care and kindness of the druids slowly began to heal his body and soul.

Among the druids was a familiar face—Queen Despina, the exiled elven princess who had found sanctuary with them years before. She recognized the pain and loss in Max's eyes, having endured her own hardships and exile. Through her compassion and understanding, Max began to open up, sharing his story and finding a kindred spirit in the elven queen. Their bond grew stronger, forged in the shared desire for peace.

As Queen Despina embarked on her mission to rebuild the Elven Kingdom, Max chose to accompany her, recognizing her qualities of leadership and integrity. In the tranquil beauty of the Elven Kingdom, Max found a new purpose as a protector and guardian, his unwavering loyalty serving as a beacon of hope for all who crossed his path.

Max's journey brought him into contact with the other queens. Each queen was intrigued by the loyal and gentle giant who had once been a fierce knight. They saw in him the potential for great deeds, not through violence, but through his steadfast dedication to those he cared about.

Throughout Max's journey, Hearts remained a silent guardian, his fascination with Max and the queens deepening with each passing moment. Despite the growing suspicion from his fellow angels, Hearts remained steadfast in his mission to protect the earthly realm, his destiny intricately woven with the fate of Mythraea and its rulers.
