🌸 Did We Love Eachothers 🌸
He never believed in love. To him, it was the worst word in existence. But because of business and family pressure, he was forced into marriage... with his own personal secretary. A boy who was also his childhood best fr...
As Taehyung and Jungkook stepped into the grand hall of the hotel where Kang had arranged the so-called business party, a suffocating wave of alcohol hit them instantly. For Taehyung, the smell was all too familiar. He'd often drowned himself in it on nights of frustration or rage, so it barely fazed him. But for Jungkook, it was unbearable. The heavy, intoxicating stench made his head spin, and his steps faltered.
He hated it. Every whiff of that bitterness twisted his stomach. His body instinctively leaned closer to Taehyung, fingers clutching tightly at the back of his shirt. Taehyung immediately noticed—he had anticipated this. He’d never brought Jungkook to such places before, for a reason. But tonight, he didn’t have a choice. Leaving his fragile bun alone in the hotel didn’t sit right with him either.
Still, he hadn’t expected this—not this kind of chaos. He had assumed the party would be held in a professional, refined manner. But this was something else entirely. It was noisy, reckless… and worse than any gathering he had seen in a while.
Taehyung’s grip on Jungkook's arm tightened protectively as his sharp eyes scanned the hall, finally landing on Kang. The man sat slouched, head hanging low with an expression that bordered on boredom and discomfort. As Taehyung led Jungkook toward him, the atmosphere around them shifted.
Sensing their presence, Kang slowly lifted his gaze—only to find himself face-to-face with a pair of cold, unreadable eyes staring him down. Taehyung’s gaze was blank, void of emotion—but it screamed something Kang couldn’t quite grasp. It made his throat tighten. Fear crawled up his spine as he struggled to swallow. And before either of them could speak, Kang opened his mouth in a desperate attempt to explain—to clear the air about whatever had happened just moments ago.

“Sorry, Mr. Kim, for this situation… I originally arranged a decent business party,” Kang said with a disappointed voice, rubbing the back of his neck awkwardly. “But my son and his friends turned it into… whatever you’re seeing now. I tried my best to stop them, but I couldn’t.”
Taehyung sighed, his sharp gaze sweeping over the chaotic scene before him. “Alright, we should leave now—”
“Please, Mr. Kim!” Kang stepped forward, stopping him mid-step. “Just half an hour. I promise I’ll handle everything and clear the mess. Today… I told everyone you would be here. I promised them I’d introduce you. Please don’t walk away like this.” Taehyung’s jaw clenched, irritation flickering behind his eyes. But just as he turned, he felt a tug on his shirt.
He looked down to find tiny fingers clutching his blazer gently. Jungkook stood there, with those big, innocent doe eyes staring up at him—silent, but loud in their request. His soft pout, the slight tilt of his head, and the way he blinked slowly—everything about him screamed, "Please stay."
Taehyung let out another sigh, longer this time. Of course, he understood what the bunny was trying to say—without a word. His gaze lingered on Jungkook’s hand still gripping him. Even if the chaos around them disturbed him, the boy's quiet presence somehow calmed the storm within.
