Jungkook’s lips murmured the name shakily, his eyes wide with shock and aching from the burning tears streaming down his face. Memories of his past—the dark room, the pain in his body, the torment of being trapped in darkness all night—rushed back relentlessly. He recalled his desperate protests, the panic attacks triggered by cruel words and harsh beatings, the overwhelming fear that consumed him. His lips barely met, gasping for breath as if the memories were stealing all the air from his lungs, leaving him struggling to breathe.

Sehun lifted his hand gently, reaching to wipe the tears from Jungkook’s face. But the younger recoiled, his legs trembling as he pushed Sehun’s dirty hand away.

“Baby, are you still angry with me?” Sehun’s voice softened, filled with regret. “I’m sorry I left you when you needed me the most… I’m sorry I never came back to see you.” With those words, he pulled Jungkook into a tight embrace. Shocked and scared, Jungkook struggled, wiggling in Sehun’s arms, trying to break free from the man who refused to let go and only pulled him closer.

“Why are you wiggling, baby? After not seeing me for four years, I thought you will be hold me tight, kiss me like there’s no tomorrow,” Sehun whispered, his voice a mix of longing and possessiveness. “But look at you—so angry with me. Let it out. I don’t care about your anger because I know you’ll be okay after I shower you with love, care, and all the pampering you need. I know how much my bunny loves me—more than anyone else. Baby, I’ve missed you. Let me kiss you…”

His words only deepened Jungkook’s fear. Tears spilled freely down his cheeks as he struggled to push Sehun away, but his strength was no match for the man’s overpowering grip. His eyes swelled with pain, and his heart sank further with the crushing realization that he still couldn’t fight back—that he was falling helplessly like a trapped, broken soul.

“Lea... leave me… Sehun, pl... please, don’t touch me…” Jungkook’s voice trembled with hiccups as he shouted, his whole body shaking uncontrollably. Every touch from the man felt like poison against his skin, making him recoil in disgust. He pushed desperately, trying to create distance, but Sehun refused to let go—his face twisted with cruel amusement as he closed in, engulfing the trembling younger in his grasp.

“Sorry for everything I did to you, but you need to know one thing, bunny. Our relationship didn’t break because of me. When I left, it wasn’t my fault. You have to understand—Taehyung betrayed us both. He cheated behind our backs and pushed me out of your life. He’s the one who caused all of this. I can’t tell you everything now, but when the time is right, I will. Just don’t trust him, bunny. He’s no good for you. He tore us apart and made you believe I was the enemy. He planted lies in your mind to make you hate me. I swear, baby, I did nothing wrong. It was all him.”

Everything seemed to be playing out exactly how Sehun wanted—until those venomous words about Taehyung slipped past his lips. At that moment, something inside Jungkook snapped.
