It had been five months since peace finally seemed to settle around them. Life was moving forward—smooth, balanced, and filled with the kind of small happiness that came with family warmth. Their days carried laughter, silly fights, playful bickering, and soft reconciliations—just like any ordinary couple.
Sehun, along with his family, had shifted to London with Mrs. Jeon. As his mother wished, he took over the position of CEO at Jeon Enterprises, moving the company’s base to London and settling there permanently.
Meanwhile, Taehyung and Jungkook’s life blossomed in those months with moments that bound them even tighter. Jungkook was two months pregnant, their family was overjoyed, and Lisa and Eunwoo had tied the knot, turning their mansion into a place echoing with joy and togetherness.
But while the Kim Mansion thrived with light, shadows lingered elsewhere.
On the darker side of this world, Jeon remained trapped in a cruel fate. He was enduring the final stage of his suffering, each breath heavier than the last. YN was no longer among the living—her fragile life extinguished in the most excruciating way. Taehyung, merciless as ever, had injected a poison into her veins—a drug designed not to kill instantly but to devour her from within, burning through her body piece by piece.
Each passing day was a torment, the poison scorching her flesh from the inside, making her feel as though her very bones were aflame. And if that agony wasn’t enough, Taehyung’s cruelty sharpened the pain further. At times, he refused to let any part of her remain untouched—cutting, tearing, feeding her flesh to street dogs while she watched with hollow, terrified eyes.
It wasn’t death alone that consumed her, but the endless cycle of torment—pain that dragged until her body finally gave up and slipped into the abyss. In the end, she was nothing more than a broken shell, her spirit drowned in hell long before her body stopped breathing.
Let’s step into Jeon’s world for a moment—was he getting even a shred of peace, or was his life nothing less than a curse carved into the devil’s playground?
“Still… how many more days will you torture me? Haven’t you found your peace yet? Then why—why drag me through this pitiful state? I can’t even bear to look at what’s left of my body anymore…” Jeon’s voice trembled, weak and broken, every word heavy with despair.
His pleading only curved the devil’s lips into a dark smirk. The sight of it burned Jeon with a fresh rage—he wanted to kill him, to rip away that cruel smile. But how could he, when half of his body was no longer his own, already devoured by the very monster standing before him?
“Still not enough?” Taehyung’s voice cut through the silence, cold yet calm, like the strike of a blade. “The pain you caused my husband and his family wasn’t enough, Jeon. Jack, He may be hungry… give him the leftover meat he didn’t finish two days ago.”
The words settled in the air like poison. Jeon’s eyes widened, horror spilling through them—because he understood exactly what that command meant.
“It’s enough, Taehyung… I don’t want this. Please, I’m begging you… If you want, you can leave me to starve until death takes me… but don’t make me eat my own flesh…”
Jeon’s broken voice cracked into the silence, his desperate cries echoing faintly in the cold chamber. But mercy was not something the devil dealt in. Taehyung’s sharp eyes glinted with cruelty, untouched by Jeon’s pleading.
Soon, Jack entered, his face hidden behind a mask, his hands sheathed in black gloves. Taehyung gave him a glance, and Jack nodded, stepping forward with quiet obedience. Jeon flinched, shutting his lips tightly, shaking his head violently, unwilling to obey this twisted demand.
