Kayla was getting worried about Nick and Ezra. They went to warn the others that it was a trap but they didn't come back yet. The rest of the crew came in to the cockpit. Everyone except for Nick and Ezra. "The boys did alright." Hera said snapping Kayla back to reality. Kanan was a bit annoyed at the statement. "They did okay. Where are they?" He asked looking back at the rest. Zeb looked a bit nervous. "I uh thought they were with you." Sabine shot up "Zeb, what did you do to them?" "I didn't do anything, but that ISB agent grabbed them." "What!" Everyone said together. Kayla was already running out of the room. The droid followed after her.
Nick's POV
Ezra and I were thrown in a cell, questioned then secured here, yada yada yada. The whole shebang. I was surprised to see Ezra with Kanan's puzzle box. "Wow you held on to that." He smiled and looked up. "You know what this thing is?" he asked. I looked at it and shook my head. "If my sister was here she would be able to identify the thing in a snap." I told him snapping to show my point. He tried to get it open but ended up tossing it across the room. I try to remember what that stupid cube puzzle thing is but I can't, all I can remember is that it can't be opened by force. Arrrrrgh! I really should've paid more attention when Kayla went on her rants! I took a deep breath and sat on the floor in a meditation pose. I hear a clicking sound "This is Jedi master Obi-wan Kenobi, I regret to inform you that both our Jedi order and the republic have fallen. With the dark shadow of the empire rising in their place. This message is a warning and a reminder for any surviving Jedi; Trust in the force." The box closed back up like nothing ever happened. Ezra was thinking about selling the thing to the right buyer. Hold up; did I just read his mind! Talk about creepy! Then again this is the star wars universe; crazy stuff happens. I crouched down on the opposite end of the stairs from Ezra. "Are you stormtroopers or clone troopers? They are almost identical I can never tell!" I yelled channeling my inner Kayla. "You bucket-heads are going to be sorry when our uncle the emperor finds out you're keeping us here against our will. He'll make a personal *coughs* example *chokes*" I nearly snickered at his antics. When the troopers finally fell for it, we took our leave. "Bye guys" Ezra said giving a mock salute. "See ya" I snapped shutting the cell. I followed Ezra to get our things back. He took a helmet and so did I. I knew he'd throw his at Zeb in a few minutes and I remember Kayla pretending that Ezra was our brother and she stole his cadet helmet. Funny thing was; it felt more like a memory than a role play. Ezra's "Well that's debatable." Snapped me out of my thoughts. We jumped down and stood back to back. Zeb punched Ezra in the face. I felt like I had to do something. I didn't think I just did. I kept in the air kicking the Lasat and landing. The impies were on our tail. As predicted Ezra threw his helmet at them. As we jumped into hyperspace, I suddenly remembered what Ashoka had said, "You're parents are gone, but not your brother. You're going to meet him very soon. I promise" Meet him very soon, reading his mind, protecting Kayla, defending him, could he be? No that's crazy. But it's not. I could really be who I think I am.
