Droids in distress

"I don't have a shot!" Kanan called from the turret. The rest of the crew-minus Kayla- was in the cockpit. The crew needed supplies. But they were growing increasingly popular with the empire, which made it difficult to get the supplies they needed. It's Nick, Ezra and Kayla had been offered to stay. Kayla often thought back to what he had said. She'd been sitting on a rock watching the stars come out, when a familiar presence appeared behind her. "Hello Kanan. I'm surprised you're here." The ponytailed male chuckled "You have a strong wit kiddo. You actually remind me of someone I used to know." She had to ask "Why are you here? Shouldn't you be off by now?" He put a hand on her shoulder. "I want to offer you and your brother a choice; you can stay here stealing to survive or you can come with us make a difference in the world and possibly even have a chance at a family again." She smiled and accepted. She knew that Kanan had a sister during the war, Vella Zachnee, who reappeared in s1e2 basically today. She would wear a crystal around her neck. I f no one else brought it up she would suggest it. After the jump she heard a familiar voice from behind. (Chopper is in underlined text) "Hey Kayla, Hera would like us all in the cockpit. Could you come with me please?" She nodded "I think you remind them of someone they knew." She smiled at the statement. "I guess I do." She entered the room with Kanan. "I told you we'd get away." He announced. "With the shipment, you said we'd get away with the shipment!" Sabine snapped. Kayla motioned her hands down open plams down. "I don't understand why we can't just go and distract the ties and get supplies and then jump!" Nick snipped. His sister pinched the bridge of her nose in frustration. "Because it's not that simple, Nick. The more we rebel against the empire the more we are seen as criminals. We can't just walk into a shop and get what we need. We can barely get by day to day! We're lucky we escaped in one piece!" Ezra stared off into space during the conversation. He missed his siblings. He still loved his new family but his siblings were still out there." While the crew discussed their choices, Vella popped into Kayla's head. She had a little smile on her face but it wasn't the rebels Vella she looked a lot younger, had her hair up in messy buns, and had a tool in her hand. She snapped back to reality when chopper pulled her hand. "What about one of vizago's jobs?" Kayla got mixed answers. But they were doing it, walking to the spaceport, she walked with chopper ahead to make it look like she was blind. "Hey! Watch where you're going please." Nick said after Kayla rushed by him. "Late for something!" She yelled over her shoulder. She was fast! Everyone boarded sitting in different seats and barely looking at one another. Then just as Kanan bored another figure jumped just missing the door and rolled on their side before popping up. The girl had dark skin, wet sand colored hair cut messly, freckles and grey eyes. She wore dark brown boots with tan soles, pants a dark gray, a sky blue shirt under a reddish brown jacket, red-brown fingerless gloves with a cut out, holster that wrapped around her leg with pockets on the left side, and a silver chain that was hidden behind her shirt. The exposed skin on her wrists, neck and behind the gloves were covered with scars.  Kanan was trying to process the fact that the girl was unharmed, but he only saw that one time when Vella and he escaped the clones at the end of the war. They had been running away from the clones and lost them for a few minutes enough to get up a tree. They were watching the clones when two blaster bolts were fired. One hit Vella's neck and the other just missed them. It caused them to fall out of their hiding spot.  They were able to grab their weapons and activate them. Caleb (Kanan) threw one of the troopers at the tree knocking him out. He grabbed his sister's hand and started running at a fast pace. At the falls a trooper tried to get them to calm down. "NO!"  Caleb screamed "You k¡lled her!" Vella continued to add on to her brother's words. "Master bilaba trusted you and you got her down in an instant! I thought you were her friends!" Both of them had a tight grip on their weapon. The soldier tried to get closer. Vella pointed the blaster at him only set to stun she removed the safety lock. "Don't come any closer! I will release!" The kids heard footsteps and looked at one another before they jumped. Looking back they put their weapons away and continued on the path. It's been 14 years since that day since he cut ties to protect her. The stranger was thinking the same thing. She walked by Kanan allowing him to see her neck better, revealing that same scar from the escape.
Kanan pov
It can't be her, it's a crazy coincidence. But the possibility rolls around in my head. The ship jolted causing her to lose her balance a purple cyristal fell from her shirt. The same one that we gave Vella all those years ago. It's really her. My sister is right here in front of me.
Vella pov
Well screw this day. First panic attack, then I overslept so I was late for breakfast and had to eat a snack bar, my ship broke seeing as I had zero time to fix it had to take a shuttle, now I embarrass myself in front of total strangers! I picked myself up and slid in behind a ponytail guy. Hopefully he'll be my contact. I tapped shoulder, repeating the phrase I was given. "Inight the spark." He finished with "light the fire."
3rd POV
Kayla hopped out of the shuttle running and turned a corner stoping. Chopper rolled over and led her. "Take us straight to bay seven." Minister Tua ordered. Chopper comed Hera. "Well stall them!" "Can I fight?" "No! chopper." The girl slid her hand on chopper's dome. She was pretending to be blind. Walking tworads the group of impealas she had her helmet closed hiding her face. She walked along with chopper keeping pace. She pretended to bump into the group. "Watch it citizen." "I'm very sorry. It's just that I'm not familiar with this area yet and I'm just trying to get to my family." The minster softened. "I think we can help with that. Where are you supposed to meet?" "We are supposed to meet in bay nine." She pressed the comm button on her helmet. Ezra pick up. "What's up kiddo?" "Where are you? I thought we were gonna meet in bay nine. Minister tua is helping me get there." He picked up on her message. "Alright I'll let dad know do he can send someone over." He sighed. Kayla looked back at the minister and told her what was going on. "My dear could you please remove the helmet?" "With all due respect ma'am, I wear it because it's my way of seeing the world. I'm blind." She explained. "I see and I assume that droid assists you?" She nodded. When the got to bay nine she saw Nick. "Sondilie." Nick sighed. He ran up to her and embraced her "Lontu." She smiled under the helmet. She never wanted to lose Nick.
Time skip Vella POV
I glared at the guy in front of me. I snapped. I'd had enough of the kids attitude. "Kid do you know how lucky you are to have people who care about you? Extremely. My family died in the purge and my bio parents didn't care about me they just wanted a perfect little senator girl." "My brothers taught me a saying they made up; a secret shared" Ponytail finished "is a trust formed." It couldn't be him, he died in the purge. Yet he still had that same energy as Caleb when we were kids. I don't believe it more rebels. If only Jun, Caleb and Ashitari could see this. "Thank you I'm sorry I didn't get your name." I smiled replying, "Call me Ace for now. You may see me in the future."
Time skip.
"You didn't tell them my name." I looked back at senator Organa "I did not Ms Zachnee. You are welcome to join us." He offered. "Thank you but I already have a previous rebel engagement." I ran off. One day boys one day we will meet again. I told them in my head like they could respond little did I know they were all listening.
