A month had passed since Yiro's tragic injury, and Yaze had thrown himself into his work, teaching his students at UA and mentoring his work-study group with relentless determination. His grief and guilt had not lessened, but he had learned to carry it with him, using it as fuel to push forward. The bonds he shared with his students and fellow Heroes had become his anchor, helping him navigate through the darkness.
It was now March, nearing the end of spring break, and a sense of unease had settled over the Hero community. Rumors of an impending conflict had been circulating, and tensions were high. The students of the Hero Course were caught off guard when they were informed that all internships would be at the same location.
The students gathered, buzzing with curiosity and nervous excitement, when they were greeted by Burnin, who addressed them with urgency. "Listen up, everyone. We're evacuating the residents of Jaku City. The Pro Heroes are at the foot of the mountains, preparing for what might be the biggest battle we've ever faced."
The gravity of the situation was clear, and the students steeled themselves for what lay ahead. As they moved out, they could see the determination in each other's eyes, knowing that they had to be strong for the people depending on them.
A team of Pro Heroes, including Sentinel, Endeavor, Eraser Head, Present Mic, Mirko, Gran Torino, Ryukyu, Crust, Wash, the Wild, Wild Pussycats, Rock Lock, Manual, Thirteen, Ectoplasm, and more, gathered for a crucial meeting. Naomasa Tsukauchi, the police detective, addressed the group with a serious expression.
"Everyone, thank you for coming. We have confirmed that the mysterious 'Dr. Ujiko', the manufacturer of the Nomu, is actually Kyudai Garaki, the Quirkless founder of Jaku General Hospital. He's a well-known advocate of Quirk-based healthcare and a renowned philanthropist, but he's also been operating in the shadows, creating Nomu and supporting the League of Villains and the Paranormal Liberation Front."
Rock Lock raised a skeptical eyebrow. "How do we know for sure that it's him?"
Tsukauchi held up a photograph. "One of my subordinates went undercover at the hospital and followed Kyudai to an area that doesn't appear in the blueprints. He managed to take this photo of Garaki alongside a small Nomu. While arresting him might not be difficult, we need to be cautious to avoid disasters like Hosu and Kamino. Our objective is to take down all the members of the Paranormal Liberation Front at once."
The room was filled with murmurs as the Heroes processed the information. The stakes were higher than ever, and the margin for error was slim.
Meanwhile, outside the front of the Paranormal Liberation Front's mansion at the Gunga Mountain Villa, a large group of Pro Heroes had gathered. Among them were Edgeshot, Mt. Lady, Kamui Woods, Midnight, Gang Orca, Fat Gum, Suneater, Majestic, Cementoss, Ms. Joke, and many more. Several students, including Class 1-A's Kaminari and Tokoyami, and Class 1-B's Komori and Honenuki, were with the group.
Back at Tsukauchi's group, the atmosphere was tense with anticipation. The Heroes and students listened intently as Tsukauchi briefed them on the mission. Endeavor, his arms crossed and expression stern, stepped forward to address Tsukauchi directly.
"How did we manage to uncover all this information?" Endeavor asked, his voice low but commanding. "And what is 'he' doing?"
Tsukauchi, maintaining a calm demeanor, replied, "It's classified information. Rest assured, everyone is working hard for the peace of the country."
Endeavor's eyes narrowed slightly, but he didn't press further. He had a strong suspicion that Hawks was the one behind the intelligence. Hawks had always been a resourceful and strategic thinker, and it made sense that he would be involved in gathering such crucial information.
