A week had passed since Vitaevor had freed Dr. Garaki, and there had been no sign of either of them. Yaze had spent the time relentlessly patrolling, dealing with the surge in crime and chaos that had erupted in the wake of the Heroes' diminished presence. The city seemed to be spiraling further into disorder with each passing day.

Yaze flew over the city, his eyes scanning the skyline for any signs of trouble. As he soared above the buildings, he noticed a figure standing on the edge of a rooftop, looking down at the crowd below. Instinctively, Yaze knew what was about to happen.

The figure jumped, plummeting toward the ground. Yaze dived at full speed, catching the person just in time. He gently lowered the person to the ground, ensuring they were safe. But instead of gratitude, the crowd's reaction was filled with anger and resentment.

"You Heroes are a sham!" someone shouted.

"You can't protect anyone!" another voice joined in.

"All you care about is fame and money!"

"You're just in it for the glory, not to save people!"

"You're no better than the Villains!"

The accusations and jeers continued, a cacophony of distrust and disillusionment. Yaze felt the weight of their words, knowing that the recent failures and chaos had eroded the public's faith in Heroes.

Taking a deep breath, Yaze activated his Fear Aura on a low frequency but with a wide radius. The effect was immediate; the crowd fell silent, an uneasy feeling of dread washing over them.

He hovered above them, the rescued person safely on the ground. "I'm no Hero," Yaze said, his voice cold and resolute.

Without another word, he took off again, leaving the subdued crowd behind.

As Yaze was flying over Tokyo, his communicator buzzed to life. He quickly answered, recognizing Best Jeanist's voice on the other end.

"Sentinel, we've got a situation," Best Jeanist said, his tone urgent. "There have been reports of Nomus spotted all over Tokyo. They're running rampant, killing people and causing destruction."

Yaze's heart sank. "How many are we talking about?"

"Dozens, at least. They're not as strong as the Near High-Ends we faced during the battle with the Paranormal Liberation Army, but they're still extremely dangerous. It must be the work of Dr. Garaki. This is likely why Vitaevor freed him--to create more Nomus."

Yaze clenched his fists, anger boiling inside him. "Where's the highest concentration?"

"Shinjuku. It's already turning into a war zone," Best Jeanist replied. "We're mobilizing all available Heroes, but we need every hand we can get."

"I'm on my way," Yaze said, ending the call. He altered his course, flying at top speed toward Shinjuku.

Shinjuku was Yaze's hometown, a place filled with memories both good and bad. As he neared the district, the scale of the destruction became apparent. Fires raged, and the streets were littered with debris. Screams echoed through the air as civilians fled in terror. Yaze could see Nomus wreaking havoc, their monstrous forms tearing through buildings and attacking anyone in their path.

In the back of his mind, Yaze speculated that the Nomus' high concentration in Shinjuku wasn't a coincidence. Dr. Garaki must have sent them here to find him, knowing it was his hometown. The realization fueled his determination. He couldn't let his home be overrun by these monsters. This was personal.

Yaze landed in Shinjuku, immediately confronted by the chaos. At least twenty Nomus were rampaging through the ward, their monstrous forms causing widespread destruction. Fires raged, and the air was filled with the sounds of screams and collapsing buildings. Yaze's eyes narrowed, his resolve hardening. He knew he had to stop these creatures, no matter what it took.
