A voice shouted out suddenly as the sound of tiny pebbles hurling down and clashing with the rocky surface was heard. ''Ya.. wait up for me! You know I am tired, and yet you go on!''
A sudden skid across the surface was heard, above the sound of the vocal cords of the unknown man who had just spoken.
Ja'far had spun around as his flowy robe and turban would flow in the wind, a testament to his intriguing presence that he establishes wherever he explores. ''It is not my fault that you're quite slow.. And here I thought you would pick up the pace, Sufyan.''
Sufyan stopped to catch his breath ''Yea yea.. I don't do this all the time like you do.. What are we doing here anyways Ja'far..? Better be something good.. because we both know I could be sleeping right now..'' Sufyan adjusted his turban due to it keep faltering from the wind.
Ja'far slid on his feet down the mountain that they were on, whilst sliding down to Sufyan he'd grasp his arm with a firm grip ''You don't want to miss out on this brother.. trust me..'' Ja'far would now yank him up as he'd scale up the mountain, Sufyan groaning in exhaustion as they trailed up.
The duo now reached the summit of the mountain... the loud and demanding footsteps of Ja'far would creep up as he'd now rise up in the center of the mountains peak, Sufyan trailing right behind him. ''Look.. I told you..'' Ja'far spoke out softly.
Sufyan groaned as he'd grip a rock, pulling himself up to the summit as he'd lock eyes with what Ja'far was referring to. ''Ja'far.. Subhan Allah..'' The two stood next to each other as they'd look at a direct view of the cityscape of Medinah... the home of the Beloved Prophet of Islam.
Ja'far chuckled ''And you didn't want to come up here.. Enjoy the moment Sufyan.. and catch a breather..'' Sufyan in return chuckled along with Ja'far ''I'm exhausted don't get me wrong on that, I'll hold you accountable for making me come all this way.. but Allah has blessed our eyes indeed.'' Sufyan said in a exhausted tone shifting into a more softened one.
The stars looked as if they were sparking, as the moon would shine on the duo and the mountain in which they stood over.. Ja'far put his arm over the shoulder of Sufyan. ''Let's talk about Zayneb now.''
Sufyan threw his arm off ''In your dreams, I knew this was your intention the whole time! Bring me up here make go all soft so you can bring this up..'' Sufyan shouted as he tried scaling down. Ja'far couldn't hold back his laughter as Sufyan got all defensive ''Oh come on! Not even brave enough to speak to her baba! Wait till she sees your climbing skills..'' Ja'far kicked dust at Sufyan as the two continued playfully arguing.
The two had eventually scaled down the mountain together.. making their way to their tent on a large sand dune. Ja'far had brushed into the tent with his brother, both finding warmth in the outskirts of Medinah. He'd undo his leather belt, gripping the scabbard that held his traditional Islamic sword within it.
The scabbard and the leather pieces dropped onto the rug that Ja'far was standing over. A frame sitting on the rug held the Holy Qur'an. He'd grasp it from it's frame, kissing it and placing it on his head. Ja'far now went towards his resting ground after placing the holy book back into it's frame.. Him and Sufyan are orphans and live by themselves. But they were never truly alone, the presence of his lord was always with them.
As the busy city of Medinah slowly died down, Ja'far found himself drifting to sleep in his cozy cheap fabric that was laid on the sand below him. But the action of sleeping, he'd lift his palms up to make prayer.. His begs to his Lord to guard him during the upcoming battles against the infidels and those he loved would echo through his darkened tent. The hands of Ja'far wiped over his face after the prayer, in a swift motion he'd blow the candle out, the tent fully darkening.
