Asma was scaling up a mountain.. a exhausted voice following from behind her.. ''We are almost there..'' She smiled, looking back.. ''Ahh it better be worth it Asma..'' Zaynab stated.. smiling as she trailed behind Asma.. The two would reach the summit of the mountain, pulling eachother up, looking at the view..
The view of Alexandria took them in as they looked at each other and smiled.. Just like their husbands.. And their bond, they had done their favorite hobby.. adventuring, enjoying the beauty of the landscapes. ''You knew as well, they loved doing such things like this..'' Zayneb said, tears already going down her cheek..
Ever since the Martyrdom of their husbands and brothers.. Ubaidah has taken them and forced them to live with him once again.. She was back to her old life.. Any corner she turned she'd see guards watching over them.. ''Yes.. I wanted to experience what they did..'' Asma smiled as she said this.. ''Ja'far told me Sufyan was the one who always went down first.. Go ahead, I'll catch up!'' Asma suggested whilst laughed, as Zayneb laughed back ''Of course he was!'' Zayneb jokingly said as she scaled down, leaving Asma by herself for a short amount of time..
Asma now lifted both her hands up, revealing her palms as she now made supplication to her lord.. ''Ya Rabb.. Reunite me with the love of my life.. my sunlight.. a flower is broken without her sunlight my lord.. Bring me back to him.. And answer his duas of humiliating the oppressor's.. So that me and his children.. and the ones he loved aren't stuck here.. So he can indeed stay true to his promise O' Almighty..'' Asma teared up, wiping her face with her hands as she made her way back home..
She had remembered the images she saw that day.. when they had decapitated her husband after he died, to bring his head to her father as he requested.. It didn't haunt her anymore.. She knew her husband was a shaheed.. along with his brother..
Asma would return home to her children, who had grown.. They had finished praying together as she'd get in between them.. Holding them close to her.. Her son and daughter cuddled into her.. ''Just like your father.. you're strong my lions.. One day.. you will carry on the legacy me and your father will leave behind..''
Asmas children cried in her arms, as she'd enter the sleeping Quarters of the entire family.. wishing Zayneb and the rest a good sleep.. She'd lay on her bed.. The supplication she made on the mountain still on her mind.. She'd drift off to sleep with this thought..
As the birds chirped.. as the sun rose and shined on the beauty of their surrounding's.. ''Ya Zayneb! Asma is dead! She is dead!'' Zaynebs sister screamed out, as the family all had woken up, rushing to the bed. The inevitable swarm of tears would surrounds her bed.. Peacefully she was taken in her sleep.. to be reunited with her beloved husband..
The door of the sleeping quarters was busted open as a bunch of Umayyad soldiers entered. ''Are you the families of Ja'far Bin Abbas and Sufyan Ibn Abbas?'' The Soldier had asked firmly.. As the family nodded in response and affirmed their status.. The Umayyad soldier gave a warm smile.. Now speaking up ''You're all safe.. a horse covered in the blood and armor of Ja'far lead us here..'' The Umayyad soldier has described the beautiful miracle.. The loyal white horse of Ja'far.. Had carried on the wish of her owner..
''Allah has answered our prayers!'' Zayneb cried out..
Hugs were exchanged, tears dropped, as the entire palace was seized.. all of the soldiers who were found that took part in the martyrdom those dearest to their family during that day, were ready to be judged by the Shariat law by Umayyad Caliph himself.
Ubaidah would be informed by the Umayyad Commander that his daughter and the family of Ja'far and Sufyan had pardoned him.. So therefore he would not be executed under Qisas.. Ubaida was shocked.. He was panicking internally.. he knew he was a monster.. and yet after everything.. his daughter forgave him.. He was shaking, suffering a heart attack Infront of the Umayyad soldiers, he instantly collapsed to the ground, twitching as they went to aid him.. The heart of Ubaidah almost stopped, almost killing him. The final thing that would of been on his mind, was realization.. but it would of been to late..
The family of the Martyrs would be transported to the home of their loved ones.. Mekkah, where they would live the rest of their lives.. The children of Ja'far and Asma, despite losing both their mother and father, would stay true to the promise they gave their mother. They would be raised by their beloved aunt Zeynab and with her own children and sisters..
The Legacy of a man, who sacrificed it all for his beloved wife, for her happiness, for his families happiness.. Who strived to save not only his loved ones from oppression.. but all.. Indeed that Legacy will surely live on..
And now, he will be reuntied with his beloved.
