Several months had passed.. The Umayyads conquered Hispania since then, Ja'far and Sufyan had brought with them a new companion for their lonely journey..

Ja'far would adorn himself in a flowy white robe, exiting his tent was the beautiful view from their hill.. Mekkah.. Him and Sufyan have planned this trip of Umrah for a while.. And they have taken Asma with them. After enjoying the beautiful view, Ja'far would dart his eyes around his surroundings, noticing Asma.. she was watering flowers in the greenery areas of Mekkah, Ja'far smiled at the sight as he walked over to Asma.. ''Those flowers weren't here yesterday..'' He'd state.. Asma would look over her shoulder, a smile on her face. ''Ya Ja'far, they were barely grown! I watered them just a little at sunset yesterday, and look at them now!'' Ja'far would listen attentively to Asmas words, his smile only growing after each word. ''Here.. let me help..'' He'd kneel down, grasping her bucket after noticing it was too heavy for her, streaming the water down onto the flowers gently. Ja'far was happy.. even after everything that happened to her which she had told him.. he had made her very happy.. it unlocked something deep in his heart.

Asma would look at him with a wide smile ''Have you ever ran away with a girl before Ja'far?'' She'd state in a curious tone. Ja'far looked at her with reddened cheeks, trying to find the proper words to say ''No.. I haven't..'' Asma would look pleased with his response ''I guess I'm your first then.'' Her voice and her smile would send a shiver down Ja'fars spine.. He had never felt something like this.. Asma continued ''You haven't told me yet.. what made you and your brother end up like this?'' Ja'far faced her, thinking of how to explain.. ''Well we lost our family when we were very young.. and we have a bad lineage.. we had no family left.. no one could help us.. It was just me and Sufyan..'' Asmas heart felt softened at Ja'fars words as she now spoke ''So if you could wish for something even after everything you've gone through.. what would it be?'' She'd ask Ja'far. ''A family.'' Ja'far simply replied, Asmas face would turn a reddish pink at how simple but beautiful the wish was..

As they finished watering the plants, Ja'far walked Asma to her tent, before wishing a goodnight and heading to his own. He'd slip inside, noticing Sufyan already snoring in his sleep, Ja'far would pat his brothers shoulder before laying down next to him.. calling it a night.

The sun rose.. the birds chirped, Ja'far and his brother Sufyan had expected to wake up normally, but were only woken up to the yelps and screams of Asma. Ja'far would launch himself out of the cheap fabric he wrapped himself in, grabbing his Zhulfiqar sword as he exited his tent. ''You were right! It is her!'' A man laughed outside while holding down Asma down, her tent burning, the other men surrounding him laughing as well. ''We'll surely get paid a lot for bringing her back to Ubaidah-'' Ja'far would cut their conversation short by stomping out the still lit fire, causing the ashes to flow into the eyes of the mercenary's, way before they would arrive at his tent.

They'd all withdraw their swords and face Ja'far, whilst hearing their conversation, he was easily able to determine that Asmas family was coming for her.. He'd hold his Zhulfiqar firmly, facing them as he was ready to defend his brother and Asma with his life.
