Months have passed since the incident.. Ja'far and Asma are enjoying the beauty of the night sky and the stars.. She'd look at him.. Ja'far has been taking care of him.. even after her fathers defeat.. She could leave him.. and find a family. But she doesn't want to.. Something is drawing her to him. And something is drawing him to her. ''Asma..'' Ja'far spoke out softly.. ''Yes Ja'far..?'' She'd respond.. ''You had all this time.. to go and about.. even join the family of another Umayyad royal.. why are you staying here with me and Sufyan?'' He'd question her.. his eyes locked onto hers.. ''You stayed with me when I had nothing.. Ja'far.. and you've always had.. Nothing.. I want to stay here with you..'' Jaf'ars heart brightened as she said these words.. He felt something he hadn't felt in his entire life.. Something new.. What he has been looking for.. What Allah had been guiding him to.. Love..
He'd fully face her, his eyes fully locked onto hers as he now had the courage to speak up ''Can I be your husband Asma?'' Asma would turn red instantly, trying to cover it as she'd struggle to speak.. she almost cried at how unformal Ja'far said it.. he never had any interaction with women before.. which goes to show how genuine he is here.. ''Yes Ja'far.. make me your wife.. let us make the family we never had..'' She'd approach him.. looking up at him with teary eyes, as Ja'far met the same fate as her, tearing up almost instantly.. ''Let's return home with the good news..'' Ja'far suggested.. As the two now walked across the bridge together, sharing laughter and feelings both never felt before.
In their arrival home.. the news spread through out Mekkah and Medinah.. The Umayyad princess was going to marry the Adventurer.. None could of guessed.. Sufyan was a witness to the Nikah of his brother.. As the two had become married.. He'd grasp her head, kissing her forehead. ''I promise you.. I'll be the best father I can be for them..'' He'd point at her stomach.. She'd plant her face into his shoulder.. tearing up.. Sufyan joined in on the hug.. ''Sufyan!'' Both Ja'far and Asma shouted, annoyed. ''What?!'' Sufyan responded.
And so what had happened to these three? Turns out his bragging about his epic conquest of Hispania had indeed impressed the father of Zayneb.. Sufyan had gotten married to her, not that long after Ja'fars marriage..
The days of happiness, would turn into months of happiness, into years of happiness..
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
''You bought this home for Asma? Mashallah, it's great!'' Sufyans voice echoed across the house. ''Yes, I bought it after the Umayyad superior gave our spoils of Jihad..'' Ja'far added. ''How is your home with Zayneb and your children my dear brother?'' Jafar asked over to Sufyan ''Alhamdulillah! I am so happy my beloved brother..'' Sufyan said, hugging Ja'far tightly as Ja'far hugged him back. Ja'far would go to Asmas room, leaving Sufyan to explore it, as he'd now turn, he'd set his eyes on Asma and their daughter.
''She looks like you my beloved..'' Ja'far looked down at his daughter.. now placing his hand on her feet as she kicked them.. He'd let out a laugh.. Asma would lean forward, placing her head against Ja'fars shoulder. ''She will grow to be outgoing like her father..'' She stated.. ''And determined like her mother..'' He'd respond, now grasping the shoulder of his wife, and lifting her veil, kissing her. ''I love you.'' They both had said this word at the same time to eachother.. Ja'far had did it.. he had found what his heart was missing.. And Asma found true hope.. she never had..
A new life was set for the two.. A surge of happiness throughout both their bodies.. They would now begin to lead new life of their own.. their worries left behind.. Ja'far would place his hands on the hips of his wife, kissing her lips once again under her veil.
He'd look up to her, with the eyes of a determined man. ''No matter what come towards us.. I will protect you.. even that means my life..
Asma shakes her head ''No! You will not die! Crazy man..''
Ja'far would chuckle ''I'm just saying I would! Not that it's going To happen..''
The two kiss their daughter causing her to giggle and kick her feet..
