"Choudhary pariwar mein bahuyen beto se umra mein badi huyi toh iss khandan ki niyati palat jaeygi." A man in his 60s spoke

"Hum iss baat ko humesha yaad rakhenge Pandit ji." I saw my Dada ji reply to him.

"Yaad rahe Arjun, yeh galti dubara nahi hoti chaheye warna anjaam tum khud dekh chuke ho!" The man warned again.

"Akshit, Akshit, beta uth jaa." I heard a faint voice. "What happened to you and why are you sweating so much even with the AC on?" Maa shook me, causing me to wake up. "The same old dream maa, but why me? Why is it so connected to me?" I cried, hiding my face on her shoulder.

"Chup chup, zyada matt soch iss baare mein. Arjun se achhi banti thi na teri shayad isiliye woh baat tere dimaag mein baith gayi hai." She rubbed my back gently, patting it later to calm me down.

(Calm down, don't think much about it. You were fairly attached with Arjun, maybe that's why that event is stuck in your brain.)

"Ahem ahem, maa bete ka pyaar hogaya ho toh mujhse bhi baat karlo koi." I heard a voice from my room's door. It was none other than, "Papa! Aap yahan?" I went and touched his feet.

(Ahem ahem, if the mother son comfort time is over, then someone talk with me as well.)

"Seems like you are not happy with my presence now are you?" He asked, lightly patting my back. "I am happy to see you but how so sudden? There is no festival, anniversary or birthday close by yet we got to see you, quite surprising I mean." I step back with my hand folded back.

"I know you are angry but my life is full of work load beta, please understand." He stepped forward and put his hand beside my arms. "He has come home after a long time son, let's celebrate it rather than getting angry." Maa said, coming to my side. "But he should know that I'm still very angry with him." I walked past my father to get fresh air on the balcony.

'Ms. Govind is older than me.' The constant thought that is wandering my mind after I came back home from Ms. Govind's house.

'Should it bother me that much? I don't think so, it's not like I have any feelings for her or the dream I just saw has a hidden message behind it for me. Or does it? Oh just shut up Akshit!' I slapped myself twice to wake up from the trance.

"Akshit come and have some coffee." Maa called me from the kitchen. I took my cup and sat on the sofa, my father sat to my right and maa on the left. We had some conversations to catch up on what Mr. Choudhary has been doing these days as I don't talk often to him and also shared my academic status with him.

"Aree you know one of Akshit's friend is the daughter of Abhinav bhai sahab. Remember your friend from Medical college." Maa informed him. "Abhinav Govind?" He inquired and received a nod from maa.

"It's been such a long time since I last had a chat with him yaar. He has been my support system throughout my college life. Like a great friend he has stood beside me in every situation." I heard my father complimenting someone after a long time or maybe for the first time in a while.
