The passing days followed by weeks, only brought the group closer as they hung out with each other more often, went to arcades, adventure parks, movies and what not. Meanwhile, Akshit committed tons of mistakes but that specifically helped Aarohi and Akshit to start understanding each other better with every error he or they made.

Now, let's see what will happen when Akshit's realization will prompt him towards his fated destiny.

"Par aapne he toh kaha tha ki bade papa ab thik hain, fir kyun jaa rahe ho?" I asked my amma

"Par aapne he toh kaha tha ki bade papa ab thik hain, fir kyun jaa rahe ho?" I asked my amma. "Though he has recovered, it's our duty to check up on him na beta. And don't worry, we'll come back within a week or less." She explained. "Jaldi aana. I will miss you." I said hugging, not wanting to depart from her.

(But you yourself have told that uncle is alright then why are you going?)

I couldn't go as the carnival dates neared and the teachers have requested all the captains, vices and volunteers to come to school for a few hours everyday.

"Waise toh main bhi tujhse chalne k liye kehti par, work comes first, uske liye all the best. And akela lage toh meri bahu ko ghar bula lena but kuch gadbad nahi honi chahiye, thik?" I was shocked, comprehending what my mother intended with those words. "Maa yaar! Aise toh matt chidhao, mujhe sharam aa rahi hai." I shied, still shocked with my mother's straightforwardness.

(I would have asked you to go with us but I know work comes first, all the best for that. And if you feel lonely, ask my daughter-in-law to accompany you, but there shouldn't be any fuss okay?

Oh maa! Don't tease me like that, I'm getting shy.)

"Ok ok, I'll get going now. Dad must be waiting outside. Take care of yourself and don't forget to call me at least thrice a day." She stated before placing a kiss on my forehead. I insisted on helping her to take her luggage but she mentioned firmly that I should get ready for school and the luggage she was carrying was lighter than my school bag so she'll be fine. Savage.

[I hope you understood the reference of the school bag of an Indian student.]

I quickly dressed myself into a pair of light blue denim jeans with a white polo shirt. Wore my silver watch, gifted by mumma on my last birthday. Briefly glancing at my reflection after setting my hairs, I noticed something shining on my study desk. Upon looking, I found out, it was Ms. Govind's bracelet. 'I should return this to her.' I thought to myself after calling our unpaid driver- I mean Manav to pick me up. I stuffed the bracelet and my phone inside my bag along with my water bottle.

Manav lived nearby so he reached somewhat after 15 minutes. "Aur janab! Sab khairiyat?" He asked as I settled in the front seat, putting my seatbelt on. "Bas chal raha hai." I replied smiling. "Sahi hai. So, when are we going to witness your confession Akshit ji?" He questioned, shifting his gaze from the road to me momentarily.
