Abby's POV

"So, since neither of us have anything to do this weekend, do you wanna come over to my house?" Brandon casually suggested during lunch.

I nearly spat out my juice. "Are you serious?" I asked.

"Yeah, I can teach you how to make a flower crown and stuff..."

I mentally giggled at the "and stuff" part. "Sounds fun."

"And we can have a sleepover!"

He was so cute.

"Even more fun!"

He chuckled lightly and looked down, squeezing his hands between his legs and shifting around. "But uh-my parents are kind of, really Mormon-I think they'll be kinda scared of you."

I tilted my head at him, "wait, are you Mormon?"

He looked up at me, "I mean- yeah, I guess."

I smirked at him, "you guess?"

He shrugged, "there's just some things I don't exactly agree with."

"Hm, interesting," I muttered, observing the way his eyelashes moved when he blinked. "I guess I can learn more interesting stuff about you at our little sleepover," I didn't know why, but I thought I was a good idea to wink after my sentence. I automatically cringed afterwards, but he laughed, so I guess it was alright after all.

The sleepover with Brandon would be a fantastic opportunity to get a picture of Brandon so I could start my drawing of him.

I couldn't even get my head wrapped around such a lovely night.

As I sat at Bradly's practice, I mentally laughed at the cheerleader cooing over Brandon because they weren't the one's who was going to spend the night at his house.

Brandon's POV

My parents were quite lenient with sleepovers, well, I assume that because my sister's have so many. Them and their friends always use me as their dress up doll.

However, I don't think they've ever had a boy over, I was hoping it wouldn't be different because I'm a boy and I think they're also questioning my sexuality.

I asked my mom first. I said, "mom, can I have a friend sleepover?"

And she replied with, "alright, but ask your father too."

Like the stupid idiot I am, I said, "you don't mind that it's a girl right?"

Luckily, she was too suprised that I could talk to the female gender to decline.

My dad was the same-I think I almost have him a heart attack, he was so surprised.

I then asked to use the phone to call "the girl", and he passively said, "okay, whatever."

I was so excited calling Abby, and even more excited when she picked up.

"Hi Abby, it's Brandon!" I bubbled.

I could hear her laugh, "hi Brandon, what's up?"

"My parents gave me the okay for our sleepover, you up for it?"

"Oh my gosh, yes!"

"I'm so excited, this is my first sleepover! Well, technically."

She chuckled, "what do you mean 'technically'?"

"My sisters have sleepovers all the time, and I'm almost always their dress up doll."

"Aw. Well, this is also my first sleepover."
