Abby's POV

"Brandon, I've found it, I've found your only flaw," I gulped as Brandon lurched the car to a stop at a stop sign.

"What?" Brandon said as we sharply turned.

"Your driving sucks," I blurted as we sped down the road, "I'm actually concerned that you have a license."

"I passed the test with flying colors."

"And our lives are going to pass with flying colors- JESUS CHRIST, BRANDON, SLOW DOWN!"

"Oh, calm down, we're doing fine."

"Fine? DO YOU MEAN THE FINE THAT THE POLICE ARE GONNA GIVE YOU?"

He simply laughed and slowed down a bit, "we're gonna be okay, angel, don't give yourself a heart attack."

My heart skipped, "did you just call me angel?"

"Yeah."

"Um-why?"

"You just look like what I picture angels do." He shrugged as if it was the most casual thing.

"Okay, your driving isn't going to give me a heart attack, it's your everything."

"Well now, I don't want to give you a heart attack."

"Give me them anyway."

"I'd rather give you kisses."

I squealed and he giggled.

"What was that?" He grinned.

"That was me losing my mind- I wanna give you kisses too!"

"Well, I promise there'll be a lot of kissing when we get to our destination."

I began to daydream about how Brandon's lips felt and how everything else about him felt, ignoring his awful driving.

After a few minutes, Brandon sung, "WE'RE HERE!" And sharply turned to the right into a small parking lot.

"Just a suggestion, but, you should really slow down when you turn so I don't feel like I'm gonna die."

He pulled into a parking space, a smile on his face.

"Your parking is crap too," I commented when we stepped out the car.

"Stop being a meanie!" Brandon pouted, crossing his arms.

I smiled fondly at him as we walked off the cement into a grassy area. "Here, I'll make it up to you, hold out your hand, I have a gift."

He stopped walking and held his hand out to me. I dove my own hand down and laced our fingers together.

"I knew you were going to do that," Brandon smirked. "You are forgiven."

"Wait- where are we anyway?" I asked as we swung our hands.

"Are you kidding? You seriously can't tell this is a park?"

I looked around and noticed the trees and benches and children running around with their families.

"Oh! Wow, I'm an idiot," I blushed.

Brandon leaned over and kissed my cheek, "you're my idiot."

"Well, you're also an idiot, so I guess it's fitting."

Brandon tugged me forward a little, "let's go sit under one of the trees!" He tugged me over to one of the trees that provided the most shade, let go of my hand and sat down with his knees to his chest, against the trunk. I sat criss-cross next to him and rested my head on his shoulder, enjoying the cool shade and the grass between my fingers.
