The album was starting to chew Noa's ass. Her producer was rolling into work, and with the tour fatigue still plaguing her body, Noa found it hard to focus the whole recording session. She already had a tough enough time figuring out the lyrics for the songs, now she just needed to pull it all together; it seemed to be the hardest part.
"Try a lower pitch, Noa. Instead of letting your voice fade at the end, try holding it out."
Noa swallowed her big gulp of water, twisting the cap and setting her bottle down. She nodded, hearing the familiar beat to the main track on Hotline—Pipe. She remembered wanting Ginuwine to sing the verses she'd co-written for a feature, but hearing F1 driver Lewis Hamilton was interested in doing just that song for her when his manager asked for a sample of it was flabbergasting. She knew he featured in a few songs before just out of having music as a hobby, but it sounded surreal to hear the XNDA wanted to be on her next album.
