"Okay, okay, Paige got game," Nika whistled after reading the piece aloud, "My instagram be poppin' off with Bueckson this, Bueckson that, I feel almost suffocated."
The team seemed to have brushed past the tension chaining them together that afternoon, sitting sprawled all around Aubrey's room on their phones. They had gathered in a circle around the Croatian upon her announcing the publishing of that new article, a sea of 'oohs' rang across the group of snickering girls.
"Paigey's got the girl."
"She pulled Noa harder than her ACL."
"No fair! Bueckers gets all the girls."
The blonde rolled her eyes, a smirk tugging at her lips. "Alright, you animals. Enough."
"Come on, P, dish," Aaliyah urged, elbowing her gently, "I mean, you got the Noa Jackson pickin' you up from practice, you got her chasin' after you, holding her little hand, you get a cute little soft launch to all her fans on her insta... Is all this still part of the act or are we...?"
She shoved Aaliyah in the arm upon the older thrusting her hips jokingly. Paige clicked her tongue, "Ya'll blowin' this out of proportion. It's supposed to be convincing and real, if you morons are fooled by this, then it's working."
"Ouch. Imagine if Noa heard that."
"Uhuh, what's her little 5'4 ass gonna do?"
"Dump your ass?" Nika snorted.
"Oh, yeah," Paige scoffed, "She's dumping me."
"Gyat damn, you're an asshole," KK half-joked, "Stop playin'. That's a good fake girlfriend you got there, PB. Don't fumble."
