Since the issue of the resentment energy seemed to have been solved, Orion relaxed a bit. Even then, he decided to continue meditating through the night just in case another problem arose.

He was planning on informing his Pokemon when he suddenly had an idea! He thought, 'Wait a minute!'

Orion continuously analyzed the idea that had just popped up in his mind. After a few minutes, he felt it was feasible and became slightly excited. He thought, 'If all the speculations I made so far are correct, then I could have a way to continuously make money by stealing a large amount of resources and increasing my Psychic powers at the same time!

If Pokemon Tides are started by conflicts between Pokemon colonies, then I can continuously cause wars and steal their resources. Even though 3 wars can't start a tide, I'm sure that 300 wars will. When the Pokemon Tide starts, I'll have even more opportunities to steal some resources.

Then, I can retreat to the nearby city and hide there while they deal with the tide. During the battle, I can just sneak close to the frontlines and wait for such resentment energy to target me again.

In this way, I'll be able to strengthen myself endlessly while getting enough resources for my Pokemons. At the same time, the cities would be safer as the power of the Tides that hit them as well as the future Tides would be significantly weaker!'

The more Orion thought about it, the more he liked that idea! However, he calmed himself down to understand the risks of such a method. He analyzed, 'That said, there are two big risks in this plan along with a few minor risks.

One is if there are drawbacks to absorbing resentment energy. In that case, I'll have to carefully ponder to decide whether the power is worth the trouble.

The second major drawback is the Pokemon League. If they detest such acts, they could try to find the Trainer causing such wars. Though I don't think that the big shots will make a move, my current ability isn't good enough to even face Elite Trainers.

It might be safer to implement this plan after my Kadabra reaches Level 50 and becomes an Elite Pokemon as well. It'll guarantee that I'll be able to escape as long as someone at Sabrina's level isn't chasing me.

Apart from these two, there are other minor risks as well. For instance, the Pokemons in the colonies that I'll be looting. If I'm careless, then I could pay a heavy price. And, just like Pokemon Trainers, I have to be very careful in ensuring that the colonies I pick on don't have any Elite tier Pokemon…'

Orion thought deeply about both benefits and risks before deciding, 'Oh well, let me confirm with Cedric first. I can make a decision then.'

Despite analyzing the risks and benefits properly, there was one aspect that Orion didn't think of! That aspect was the very fact that Orion was willing to sacrifice so many people and Pokemon. Even though it was logical, the old Orion would never make such a plan.

However, facing the resentment with his will had changed his morals and principles just enough for him to not be concerned with it. If the Orion of a few days ago were to know that he would soon consider such a plan, then he might have failed to recognize himself!

Having made his decision, Orion opened his eyes and said with a smile on his face, "Guys, my issue seems to have been resolved. I'm no longer in danger and our journey will begin in time as well."

Bulbasaur immediately became happy and rushed towards him, "Bulbla Bulbasaur Bulbasaur!"

She jumped into Orion's lap and hugged him. Orion caught her and hugged her back while playfully caressing her. However, Orion's remaining three Pokemon didn't show the same excitement and looked at Orion sceptically. They were afraid that Orion was lying so as to not disappoint them.

"Rhydon?" (Are you telling the truth? How can the resentment just disappear?)
"Machoke!" (Why are you asking him? He'll lie again. Kadabra, please check him!)
"Kadabra" (I will)

Orion watched with a deadpan expression as neither of his three older Pokemons believed a word he said. Even Bulbasaur was surprised and asked in confusion, "Bulbasaur?" (What do you guys mean?)

Kadabra's eyes glowed with Psychic energy as he observed Orion carefully. After a couple of minutes, surprise appeared on his face. He said, "Kadabra!" (It really is gone!)

Orion continued maintaining his expression and said in a sad tone, "Do you think that mere resentment will stop me? Sigh, I didn't know that you three thought so little of me."

"Bulba Bulbasaur!" (That's right! How could you look down on him?)

Rhydon dejectedly apologized, "Rhydon…" (Sorry. It was just too sudden)

However, Machoke quickly said, "Machoke!" (Don't be sorry. He's just playing with us!)

Kadabra agreed, "Kadabra." (That's right. I don't feel any sorrow from him.)

Orion looked at Machoke and said, "Don't be a party pooper, Machoke."

Orion's eyes glowed blue and Machoke immediately began floating in the air! He quickly tried to use his energy to cancel out Orion's telekinesis, but to his surprise, he couldn't do so easily! A look of surprise appeared on Kadabra's face as Machoke had to exert a lot of his strength to break free of Orion's Telekinesis!

Machoke landed on the ground once again and asked in surprise, "Mach Machoke?" (How did your power increase so much?)

Before he absorbed the resentment energy, Orion could lift 75 kg without any trouble. Machoke's weight was just under it. So, Orion was able to lift him telekinetically. However, Machoke was easily able to break his telekinesis.

Now that Orion's Psychic energy had grown to four times its size, Machoke couldn't break it so easily. Of course, Orion's Psychic energy was still far from Kadabra's Psychic energy.

Kadabra looked at Orion meaningfully and said, "Kadabra." (Your Psychic energy increased after you dispelled the resentment.)

Orion nodded and said, "Something like tha… Hmm? What's that?"

Suddenly confusion appeared on Orion's face. It almost looked like he had seen a ghost! Of course, due to being in the Pokemon world, Orion wasn't exactly afraid of ghosts. He just looked at something peculiarly.

"Kadabra?" (What happened?)

Orion asked, "Can you see a strange semi-transparent pillar on top of your head?"

Orion's Pokemon looked at him with confusion. They quickly looked above their heads and didn't see anything. Machoke asked, "Machoke?" (What do you mean?)

Orion realized, 'So, none of them can see it… Why is it that I'm able to see something like this? Am I hallucinating? Or is it a side effect of me absorbing the resentment?'

Orion hoped that it wasn't his last guess. When Orion concentrated psychic energy in his eyes to lift Machoke, something else became visible. Orion could see a pillar on top of the heads of each of his Pokemon!

The pillar was almost entirely transparent due to which Orion had initially missed it entirely. He only realized it when he was talking with Kadabra. After looking at all his Pokemon, Orion realized that there was a pillar on each of their heads while there wasn't any on his head. And all pillars were of different heights.
