The Black Knight (Supergirl/You)

Chapter 5

Kara's pov:

Three weeks. It's been three weeks since anyone has seen Aj. Where did she go? Why did she leave in such a rush? What did she realize. Soon after she left we waited a day and a half and we still didn't hear anything from her. We finally went to Hank and he had no idea.

He tried contacting Steve, but to no avail. Steve was away on some top secret mission. Asking the other shield agents wouldn't give us any information either because no one knows of her existence. It's hard finding someone that never wanted to be found.

Hulk had woken up but he never turned back into Bruce like how we hoped that he would. Talking to him was near impossible. We were very patient with him but he just kept repeating one phase that clearly saddened him. "Want Knight, want knight, want knight" he would repeat all day like it was the only thing he knew how to say. Maybe it was the only thing he could say right now.

In the meantime life goes on as normal. We fight our biggest foes of the week and come out victorious with new battle scars, well mental scars for me. Although Hank decided to step in for Aj and continue our training. He tried his best based off the information that Steve gave him originally but it's not like Aj's training. She was actually there at the bases. She knows the rights and wrongs of the situation that Hank doesn't.

Lena and Alex are still working on the gas mask for when we do infiltrate Hydra. If we ever do. Alex keeps trying to tell me to give up on looking for Aj and to get it in my head that she's not going to come back. Lena tries to support me like the best friend that she is but I can see it in her eyes. It the same look Alex has been giving me since Aj disappeared. There was no hope.

I wasn't going to let that stop me though. Who else was I supposed to chow down a load of food with. Who else could challenge me in the sparring room like she did with my full powers. She was different than anyone I had met. She was cute. Wait, Kara focus. Even though I have known her for a short period of time I wanted to get to know her more.

Today was very exhausting to say the least. I just got done taking down a few aliens. They were definitely a challenge for the whole team but we worked it out, thankfully. Alex, Lena and I were at the D.E.O for debriefing and honestly I was just ready to go home. I wanted nothing more than to take a scolding hot shower, get into some cozy pajamas and stuff my face with food while watching movies.

Then suddenly out of nowhere a blue portal opens up and everyone puts their guard up. "Not this shit again." Alex sighs annoyed. We don't know who or what is about to come through that portal. Alex draws out her gun while Lena quickly grabs one of her super weapons and I get into a fighting stance. Hank signals a small fleet of soldiers to aid us just in case.

As we are all waiting for whatever it is to come out we see someone....no something..whatever is it come out. It's a gigantic body builder guy that had to be at least 6'4". Was he made out of...metal?!?! I release my stance and gasp when I realize that he's holding Aj bridal style. My excitement soon faltered when I took a good look at her. She was covered in mud and what looked to be blood. So much blood.

She was wearing a suit very similar to the one she was in when she first appeared in my apartment. This one was black with red accents. She had a gun holster on each thigh and what looked to be a medieval sword strapped to her back. She honestly looked more like a vigilante than a superhero in this suit.

"I think this belongs to you." The metal man said in a thick Russian accent.

"Who are you and why do you have her?" I asked bringing my seriousness back. No one lowered their stance, we don't know if we can trust him yet. We also don't know what he is.

"I am colossus." He said and a much younger girl came out of the portal behind him. She looked just like a teenager. She's definitely way too young for this. "This is Negasonic teenage warhead." Wow that's a very long name. I know for a fact that Aj said something about her name. The teenager didn't even acknowledge us. She was glued into her phone instead.

"We were on a mission." He said. "The Black Knight needs to heal now." He continued. We all looked at each other then back at him.

"What kind of mission?" Alex asked him. At this point we were all curious.

"Juggernaut escaped the ice box. He would destroy everything in his path if we didn't stop him and the others that escaped." Who is juggernaut?

"Who is this juggernaut?" Lena asked him. Then all of a sudden Aj starts to stir in his arms.

"He is of no importance now." She says groggily. While her eyes are still closed she feels around for the man holding her. I guess she recognized who it was because she gasped and quickly opened her eyes. "Daddy!" She yells fully awake now and hugs him tighter. Colossus just sighed and dropped her. "Don't be mean, metal daddy." She says.

"We must be on our way now." He says. Aj quickly got up and hug him tight but then she moved her arms down so she was now grasping his butt. He kept moving Aj's arms away from his butt but she kept moving it back.

I can sense the confusion around the room. This girl gets weirder and more mysterious by the day. We have now all dropped our stances and I can hear the steam coming out of Alex's ears without even having to look her way. This seems to be a recurrence lately. I know that Lena seems annoyed to some level and I'm not sure how I feel just yet.

"By metal daddy and NTW please tell Yukio that I will miss her every day." She says happily while the other girl just rolled her eyes and huffed out not saying a word before walking back through the portal.

"Goodbye, Knight. Please think about what I said. You would make great hero." He says to her.

"You know damn well I don't roll like that. But bye daddy colossus." She said to him before he walked through the portal and it closed behind him. The other soldiers were standing down and exciting the room now that it was all clear. Aj sighed happily after he left and before she could say anything Alex cut her off.

"What in the actual hell was that? You've got some explaining to do and do it now!" She yells. I rarely ever see Alex this mad.

"We really do need answers. You said we have to trust each other and that means you have to fill us in on things like this." I said to her and I could see her demeanor soften.

"Aj this is serious. We are supposed to be battling this huge organization and not only do you keep leaving us in the dark about things you just disappeared without saying anything." Lena said and guild was plastered all over Aj's face. "You talked about trusting each other. How can we even trust you when you're doing all of this?" Lena said.

"You guys are right and I apologize for everything. From now on there will be no secrets between us. You guys will be in on everything that I do." Aj says softly.

"Good, first things first. We play by my rules. You will stay here at the D.E.O indefinitely, we can get a room ready for you. You don't go anywhere without notifying one of us. Got it." Alex says sternly and Aj salutes her.

"Aye, aye captain!" Aj exclaims and Alex just sighs but says nothing. Of course she would be goofy in a serious situation. That's just her. "I do have one condition though." Aj says.

"What condition?" I say curiously.

"I want to be in the room with The Hulk. He could use a familiar face and it would be like old times, plus I'm sure that I'm the only one that can safely calm him down. Define safely. last time she nearly died, if she could die.

"Deal." Alex says. "Now give us some answers so we can go back to some real training. "What happened and where do you go?" Alex asks the question we all had.

"It's a long story so buckle up butter cup " she says. I just know that this story will be something.
