~Midnights~
"So I take it you know 1989," said Karma politely. She took a sip of her soda and looked at me waiting for an answer.

"Yeah, I know her," I answered. She smiled and nodded slowly.

"Did she tell you about me?" she asked. "She was sort of my best friend."

"Really?" I was confused to say the least. Why didn't I know who Karma was until rep introduced me if she was 1989's best friend? "Did you guys have a falling out or something, cause she's never mentioned you.." I said and gave her an awkward smile.

"Well-" she started but reputation but her off.

"Please, Karma, can we just not do this today?" she said. She sounded annoyed, like Karma had done this many times before.

I looked at rep with confusion and she just shook her head in reply.

"Why not? It's a good story," said Karma and stared at her sister.

"It really isn't, no one likes when you tell them this."

I simply looked at them both as they argued, unsure what to do. After a few minutes of arguing Karma looked at me and spoke.

"So anyways, what was I saying?" she said and chuckled.

"Something about you and 1989 falling out..." I answered.

"Right," she said and continued where she'd left off earlier. "So basically what happened was that 1989 had this huge crush on me, right, and it was so funny," she said and laughed.

"It really wasn't..." mumbled rep. Karma glared at her to shut up and continued.

"And she didn't think that I knew, but I did," she said in a proud tone, "So I made this joke about it and I didn't think she'd take it so seriously... so she got me kicked out of the house." She laughed as she spoke, but she was visibly upset about it.

"Is Karma the girl 1989 was talking about at the party?" I thought to myself. "Why would she do that? She seems so sweet...poor 1989..."

"You never lived in the house to begin with, and that's not the only reason you got banned from there, Kam, and you know it," said rep, she sounded really irritated as she spoke quickly.

"Ew, don't call me that, my name's Karma," she said in a disgusted tone.

"Whatever..Kam," answered reputation and smiled. Karma looked at her angrily before rolling her eyes and looking back at me.

"So my point is 1989 is a bitch," she said quietly leaning over the table to get closer to me and I could feel myself getting angry. Then something behind me caught her attention and she started swearing quietly.

I looked behind me to see 1989 marching toward us. folklore, Speak Now and Poets close behind her.

"Speak of the devil... What the fuck are they doing here?" she said through her teeth and turned to rep.

"I- I don't actually know.." she answered slowly. She was sitting slouched in her chair looking confused and as the four girls came closer to us she sat up properly.

"You're dead reputation!" yelled 1989 as she got closer to us but reputation didn't move a muscle. "What is wrong with you?"

"I didn't know Midnights was gonna come," rep answered calmly.

"Wait what?" I said and looked at rep and 1989 in confusion. She was stood beside me now, a hand on the back of my chair. She looked at me quickly without saying a word and then turned back to rep.
