~Poets~
I was sitting on my bed writing on a small post-it note when someone knocked on my door.

"Come in," I said in a low voice as I put the things I was holding down on my nightstand.

It was Speak Now who opened the door and peaked in. "Hey, I just wanted to know if you want to be added to the house group chat," she said kindly and smiled.

"Oh yeah, I'd love that," I answered happily. She nodded and closed the door again. I chuckled slightly at the brief interaction before picking up my phone.

It didn't take more than a few seconds for the notification to come through. "Speak Now 💜💫 added you to a group chat!"

I pressed the notification and opened the chat. I noticed the name of the group immediately and it almost made me laugh. It was called "BURN THE PIANO MOM!!!" Which I guess must've been referring to the piano at the Eras Tour, the one Taylor used for the surprise songs.

folklore: oh hi Poets!

Speak Now 💜💫: She said she wanted to be added soooo

rep🐍: cool

Me: Hey guys :)

I love the name

rep🐍: Real I hate that piano, I keep losing all my fav songs like fuck you mother!!!

Lover 💌: Aw I'm sorry rep.. :((

I left the group for a moment and let the others continue the conversation without me. For some reason the emojis behind everyone's names were really bothering me so I decided to change them to just their names.

When I was done with that I went back into the chat.

BURN THE PIANO MOM!!!

Me: What did I miss?

Fearless: Oh heyyy, welcomeee

We were just talking about surprise songs ruining our lives 😛

folklore: yeah... I'm actually really upset I lost timt last night 😔

evermore: same...I'm sorry sister.

Midnights: Thats me with Labyrinth, it's my fave love songgg 🥲

This conversation about songs that had been played continued for about 20 minutes and when everyone slowly started leaving the chat I realised I'd been smiling to myself the whole time. This was the first real conversation I'd had with them all, even if Midnights and Red only said about a word each. It was nice to have people to talk to.

I had put my phone away and I was staring at the stack of post-it notes next to me. "Hey you aren't taking peoples stuff are you??" Was written on the bright pink paper. The short message brought my mood down almost immediately. I ripped the note off the rest and walked over to my desk where I quickly pressed down the sticky note on the frame of my mirror.

"She better not get mad at me for asking..." I whispered to myself and walked back to my bed. Just as I sat back down my phone buzzed and I looked down to see folklore had sent me a text.
