"Hey!" "Hi!" Javon smiled at her, his hands in his back pockets rocking back and forth nervously. He was wearing a black jacket, white shirt, and light washed jeans.

Valerie thought he looked really pretty. "You ready?" "Yeah!" She grabbed her purse which was on the mini table next to the front door.

She didn't bother to lock the door, knowing her brother was home.

"Thats so cool! When do you leave?" Valerie and Javon were sitting at a table in the coffee shop she found. It was small and cute.

The two were currently having a conversation about Javons upcoming boxing match. They were talking about so many different things. Valerie noticed how their conversations never seemed to die.

She thought it was nice to have such a quick connection with someone she'd met almost two weeks ago. "I leave Monday" "Oh shitt. Is it Wednesday?" "Yeah. Don't miss me too much tho."

Javon laughed with the girl. "I'll try." She gave him a slight frown while dragging her finger down from her eye, motioning a tear drop. "Wait so what were you saying about Friday?"

"Oh, my brother booked us a gig at some theater. He's flying out our friends here." Valerie sat criss cross. She was rocking side to side with excitement, a big smile plastered on her face.

"Thats awesome! Can I come?" "Yea of course! I was gonna ask you anyway. I barley know anyone here.." Valerie smiled at Javon. She played with the rim of her coffee mug they put her drink in.

"You know Vritika and Quinn?" "Barley!" Valerie chuckled at how anti-social she could be. "It's fine though. They can come too. Oh my god. If I don't invite them do you think they'd take it wrong!?"

Javon laughed at how quick her demeanor changed. "I think you're overthinking it?" Valerie rolled her eyes at Javon. He's cute, but sometimes he can be helpless.

"Whatever. Oh my god, you should meet Ale, Eli, and Leo!" Javon raised an eyebrow. He recognized one out of three of those names. He'd seen Eli comment and like Valeries post.

The other two names weren't familiar to him. He thought about where her relationship status would be at right now. Do one of those two names belong to someone with a romantic status, or history with the pretty brunette sitting in front of him?

He felt like he was overthinking it. Maybe Valerie isn't in a romantic relationship. If she was, that would be a massive red flag. And of course it would suck. Javon felt something between them.

He found comfort in her eyes, and her voice. He wanted her to meet his parents, and they just met. He knew it was moving too fast. But it was a rush. He felt safe, and comfortable with Valerie.
