They had gone to a park afterwards, there was a tiny playground with rusty swings an the two sat there for a while, swinging softly and talking about the sky. Everything was fine, up until Levi had said it was almost midnight and offered to drive Eren home.

"Yeah," Eren said, "That would be nice. Thank you." Levi shook his head, told him that it wasn't a big deal. So they walked the short distance to Levi's car and got in.

"Did you have an okay time?" Levi asked as he started the car, and Eren nodded his head.

They were quiet for a few minutes as Levi let the car warm up, the only noise in the small space was some music playing softly through the speakers.

"Hey, Levi?" Eren spoke, and Levi looked over at the younger boy, who was already looking at him.

"What's up?" Eren's eyes flicked away and he looked down at his hands.

"What's the worst thing you've ever done?" Eren's voice was steady, and Levi sighed, leaning his head back on the headrest in thought.

"I'd have to say when I did meth and cut the brakes on my ex boyfriends car. Why?" He looked over at Eren again, who shrugged.

"Y'know that medication that I take?" Eren asked, and Levi nodded.

"The stuff for your cold, right?" Eren shook his head.

"It's not for my cold; it's Lithium." Eren said, and Levi's eyes flicked from the road over to Eren's face. Do you still want to talk to me?" Eren's voice shook, and Levi laughed. Eren's head spun to look at Levi.

"That sort of shit doesn't bother me at all, man." Eren didn't say anything, and Levi sighed. "Seriously, don't worry. It doesn't matter to me at all; I probably take more drugs than you do, no big deal."

Eren's frown slowly turned into a smile, and he nodded his head. "Thank you, Levi."

"No worries." Levi pulled out of the parking spot, and the two drove in a comfortable silence till they neared Levi's house. "What street do you live on?"

"Same street as my school." Eren said, his head bobbing along to the beat of the music. "The number is 378."

"Got it." Levi said and took a right, and then they passed Eren's school. Levi scoffed. "God, it's so ugly."

Eren laughed, and he nodded his head. "I know, I know."

Levi pulled up in front of Eren's house, and wasn't really surprised to see that it could use a little fixing up.

"Thank you." Eren said, but he made no move to get out of the car. It was still snowing, quite a bit had piled up on the sidewalks.

"No problem, thanks for hanging out with me." Levi said, and that's when Eren leaned over and kissed Levi on the mouth. Levi tensed at first, but he soon relaxed and their mouths moved in sync till Eren sheepishly pulled away and scratched at the back of his head.

"Sorry." He chuckled, and Levi shook his head.

"It's- don't worry about it. Have a good night Eren." Levi smirked and winked, and Eren rolled his eyes as he unbuckled his seatbelt.

"Bye bye, Levi. I'll talk to you soon." The door closed and Levi waited till Eren let himself in the house and closed the door behind him till he pulled away and started driving home.

Levi arrived home, and thankfully both of his parents were asleep. He unlaced his boots and left them near the front door, then hopped up the stairs to his room.

He pulled his phone out of his pocket and his eyebrows raised when he saw that multiple texts from Eren.

From: Eren
(01:18) i'm sorry
(01:18) i shouldn't have done that
(01:18) you probably think i'm just some psycho kid
(01:19) i'm so sorry
(01:19) i won't talk to you anymore if you want
(01:19) i'm sorry

Levi bit his lip as his fingers tapped out a reply.

To: Eren
(01:29) Hey, you don't have to be sorry. I enjoyed it.
(01:30) Maybe you should get some sleep? Don't forget to take your meds, have a nice sleep Eren. Thank you for today.

Levi shut his phone off and threw it on his bed, the. stripped down to his boxers. He walked into his bathroom and washed off his eyeliner, and brushed his teeth. He opened the medicine cabinet and grabbed a bottle, then shook two blue pills out into his hand. He swallowed the pills dry and put the sleep aids back in the cabinet, then went back to bed.

He buried himself in his blanket because he was freezing, then grabbed his phone and smiled a little when he saw he had a few messages. One from Eren, a few from Farlan.

From: Eren
(01:40) thank you. goodnight levi, you're wonderful.

Levi buried in his face in the blankets to hide his blush, even though no one was there to see. He went back to his messages and opened the ones from Farlan.

From: Farlan
(01:36) Party tmr, you in?
(01:36) There's gonna be free booze & weed
(01:37) Erwin might be there, up to you tho

Levi felt his happiness drain as he read his ex boyfriends name, but the free substances were calling to him.

To: Farlan
(01:45) You fucking know it, count me in.

Levi plugged his phone into the charger and shoved it under his pillow, and waited for the pills to kick in. As he laid there, he realized that not once today had he smoked a cigarette while he was with Eren.
