Veer and Aditi's reception party was a grand success, with family and friends coming together to celebrate their union.
As the festivities came to an end, the couple found themselves looking forward to the new chapter in their lives.
Two weeks flew by in a blink of an eye, marked by moments of joy, laughter, and bonding.
Today was Aditi's first day of college, and she was filled with a mix of excitement and nervousness. Veer, being the supportive husband that he was, stood by her side, encouraging her every step of the way.
In the past two weeks, their relationship had evolved into something more profound than just being husband and wife they had become best friends.
One significant change that had occurred was Veer's habit of sleeping with Aditi on the bed, holding her close in his arms.
This simple gesture had a profound impact on Aditi, as she no longer experienced the nightmares that had haunted her for years.
Veer's presence brought her a sense of comfort and security that she had never known before.
Meanwhile, Aditi's father had hit rock bottom, facing bankruptcy and jail time. Surprisingly, Aditi felt no sympathy for him; in fact, she was relieved that her mother was finally free from his abusive clutches.
With Veer's unwavering support, her mother took the brave step of filing for divorce, determined to start afresh.
Aditi considered herself truly blessed to have a husband like Veer, who stood by her through thick and thin.
There were moments when Veer had to work late, but Aditi would wait up for him without fail.
Despite his insistence that she should go to bed, she found solace in his presence and couldn't rest until he held her in his arms. Their evenings were spent sharing meals, talking about their day, and planning for the future.
Veer's grandmother, observed the progress in their relationship with great delight. She had always seen Aditi as a daughter and a best friend.
When veer is out for work aditi spends time with her only the whole day.
Aditi's mother was now not staying with them, she wanted to live with her parents' memories.
Keshav never let her meet her parents, even when they died, so she decided to live at her parents' ancestral home as she was their only daughter.
So they agreed for her happiness.
Her ancestral home was not very far from Jaipur.
They can meet her whenever they want.
Right now,
Aditi was pacing here and there in anticipation.
She was very nervous.
Veer entered the room.
"What happened aditi?"
"I am nervous, what if I mess up?"
He cupped her face,
"Just remember one thing aditi, let people think whatever they want, just remember one thing, you are the best and will do the best"
She smiled and nodded.
He looked at her saree mangalsutra.
"Aditi actually..."
"What happened?"
"Why are you wearing a saree"
"Just like that, it's my first day so..."
"Aditi I know you wanted to look like a college girl, you don't need to do all these things like saree, mangalsutra and sindur, you can go like a college girl, don't let anyone mock you about being married."
"Veer how can you say that, just 2 minutes back you said let people think whatever they want and now you are thinking about people, and about being married, I am not ashamed to look married veer, in fact I am proud to say that I am married to a most supportive and caring person who held my hand when I needed it most and never left my hand, who came like a sun in my life which was full of darkness, gave me strength to fight with my fears, who is healing the heart which he didn't broke, who became a my protective shield, who is making my dream come true, with whom I want to spend my whole life, and this mangalsutra and sindur is not mere things to show that we are married, it's the sign of prosperity and happiness, even it makes me boring in front of people I'll never remove it."
She hugged him tightly making his heart flutter.
He kissed her forehead.
She smiled.
"Now let's go, you'll get late"
She nodded.
They had their breakfast, she took dadi's blessings,
She kissed her forehead.
"All the best, make everyone proud"
"Thank you dadi, bye"
They left for college.
In the car,
"Aditi after the college driver will pick you up."
"That's not needed, I can come myself"
"Aditi, no arguments in this matter, your safety is my first priority, you will co-operate, and if after college you want to go anywhere else after college, just inform me okay"
"Okay..!!!!"
The car stopped in front of the college.
They came out.
"Go aditi and best of luck.. I know you will rock...!!!"
She nodded and moved towards the gate.
He smiled and turned towards the car, when he heard her voice.
"Veer...!!!"
He turned and saw her coming to him.
"What happened, did you forget something?"
She nodded.
"What..?"
She hugged him tightly making him shocked.
He wrapped his arms around her, he was dancing in his mind controlling himself.
"Have a nice day and have lunch on time"
She said and he nodded smiling.
"Bye...!!"
"Bye...!!!!"
She went inside.
He was smiling like a teenager who recently fell in love.
He blushed, if anyone saw veer blushing he would literally faint.
He left for the office.
