Her piercing gaze bore into him as she posed the unthinkable question.
He caught off guard by the question, felt the weight of her gaze, the silence between them suffocating.
Aditi's heart raced with a mixture of dread and disbelief as she awaited his response, her hands trembling as she clutched the edge of the sheets, fingers gripping the fabric tightly.
In the stillness of that moment, his admission sliced through the air like a knife.
Veer : Yes..!!!!
he confessed, his voice heavy with the weight of his own admission.
Aditi's breath caught in her throat as the reality of his words sunk in. Though she hated her father but never expected his death in this tragic way, at least not by her husband's hands.
The shock of it all rendered her speechless, her eyes searching Veer's face for any sign of explanation.
He watched as a flood of emotions washed over her features.
Her eyes held a dull emptiness that mirrored the ache in his own heart.
Aditi : and Vikram Khanna..?
He knew there was nothing to hide now, he nodded making her shocked, she never expected this side of him, it was too much for her to handle at one time.
Aditi : it's so overwhelming, I don't know what to say, why did you hide it from me.

Her breathing was getting heavier.

She was feeling overwhelmed by this situation, she wasn't understanding what was right and wrong.

He kissed her forehead, she hugged him tightly.

She nodded.
There was a knock on the door, he got up and opened it.
Veer : dadi, aaiye na.
She entered and sat beside her.
Dadi : are you fine now.
Aditi : yes dadi.
Dadi : what happened to you suddenly.
She looked at him, he gestured not to say anything, she understood.
Aditi : just some weakness.
Dadi : take care of yourself baccha, now you'll eat whatever I'll give you.
She nodded.

Veer was on call with his friends.
Akshat : kaisi hai aditi ab..?
Veer : she's fine.
Siddharth : I hope she comes out of this shock soon.
Veer : she's strong from inside, I know she'll understand.
Siddharth : hmm, chalo ek baat acchi hui, yeh chupane wala game khatam hua, guilt aa jaata hai kabhi kabhi.
Veer : leave all that now, focus on your wedding, it's just one week left.

Dhruv : ab yeh bata saale bachelorette party ke baare mein kya socha hai.
Siddharth : ab tak kuch socha nahi hai, aur sochna bhi nahi hai.

Dhruv : kya yrr, veer samjha na yrr ek hi din toh hota hai azaadi hai.
Veer : guys please keep me out of this, dadi ko pata chala na toh main duniya se aur apni shaadi se azaad ho jaunga, aditi abhi bhi mujhe silent treatment de rahi hai, isme agar bachelorette ke baare mein socha bhi toh sachme bachelor ho jaunga.
Akshat : you guys are no fun.
Siddharth : beta shaadi kar le, saare fun bhul jayega.
Veer : ya true.
Dhruv : come on guys, kuch ghante at least, waise bhi itne dino mein hum kitne busy the pehle germany phir yeh goenka, please.
Veer : yrr try to understand.
Akshat : veer mere bhai haa kar dega toh kya ho jayega, kuch ghanto ki baat hai, sid please.
Veer : urgh, okay fine, but sirf kuch ghante.
Sid : okay then.
Dhruv : that's like my boys, main karta hu kuch.
Veer&Sid : tu kuch nahi karega.
Akshat laughed while he scoffed.
Dhruv : aise reaction mat do yrr.
Veer : tu kuch nahi karega, please, yaha mera divorce ho jayega.
Sid : ha aur meri shaadi hone se pehle hi tut jayegi, main dekh lunga kya karna hai.
Akshat : fine.
Veer : okay bye baad mein baat karte hai.
They all nodded...!!!!

Veer entered the room and saw her doing her night routine.
Veer : baccha..!!!
She looked at him.
Veer : umm parso se sid ki shaadi ke saare functions shuru ho rahe hai.
Aditi : I know ananya ne bataya tha, parso sangeet hai.
Veer : will you be free, exams aa rahi hai na.
Aditi : don't worry I'll manage, we can't miss that too.
He nodded.
She laid beside him, they were feeling distant though lying together, he decided not to push further.
Aditi : good night.
Veer : good night...!!!!
