"You know, now that everything's softly easing in your life. Why don't you take control of it?" Earth mentioned taking a soft swig of his beer. Jupiter looked over at him confused. Sun had invited the planets over to his home once again. He seemed a bit more concentrated this time..
"What are you on about?" Jupiter asked softly, taking Saturn's wine glass and swishing it around. He looked at the font that was embedded between the fibers. He read Saturn's name softly and glanced over to Earth.
"I'm talking about you finally making a move," Earth said non-chantilly, looking him up and down. Earth moved his plate that was in front of him stabbing a piece of beef with his fork.
"Earth.." Jupiter shook his head placing his hands under his chin and slightly leaning onto the countertop. He was clearly unamused.
"Come on Jupiter!" Earth said, throwing his hand out while he spoke. Jupiter smiled at this gesture. He knew Earth could barely sit still.
"You're seriously going to play matchmaker after your years of constantly failing?" Jupiter raised his eyebrow curiously as he crossed his arms. Earth only scoffed at his gesture putting his hand back in his lap.
"First off, ouch" Earth mentioned. "Second off, you and Saturn were so close to dating!" Earth turned his body looking at him. Jupiter sat back up and just shook his head.
"Uhuh." Jupiter made a soft noise with his mouth. Earth got up pushing the chair under the countertop.
"Jupiter, how long have you been single for?" Earth placed a hand on his shoulder. He was attempting to have a semi-serious conversation yet Jupiter took it as a joke. This probably wasn't the first time this has happened.
"All my life practically," Jupiter mentioned keeping his full attention on Earth. Jupiter pushed his glasses up before also getting off his chair and sliding under the countertop.
"Do you want to change that?" Earth moved his hand as Jupiter was a lot taller than him. Jupiter looked down at him and formed a half smile.
"Do you want another beer?" Jupiter asked, walking over to the fridge. Earth nodded before realizing.
"Yeah I do, but come on." Earth followed him as Jupiter tossed him a beer. Earth almost dropped it but quickly caught it with his other hand.
"You're acting like one of my moons." Jupiter sighed, shaking his head back and forth.
"It's been too long, Jupiter!" Earth said while talking with his hands, making a sort of 'out there' motion.
"Hey guys! Sun has an announcement for us! It's mostly about what's going to be happening moving forward." Mercury walked into the room, looking confused as Earth was mid-sentence. He slowly turned his head away cringing.
"I'm dreading this announcement." Jupiter walked past Mercury into the living room.
"Well, it had to be said somewhere." Earth followed him, he gave a fist bump to Mercury on the way over. Which Mercury quickly jumped up and did.
"Don't worry Jupiter! It'll be alright Mate." Uranus said, appearing out of nowhere. Jupiter almost yelled since he wasn't used to being stuck up on by planets at least..
"Oh my gods- Uranus where did you come from-" Jupiter looked over at him. He had paint on his surface along with his hands.
"I was here the entire time I was painting Sun! Am I really that forgettable?" Uranus said, slightly frowning. Jupiter quickly put out his hands and shook his head.
"Sorry, I am just really stressed." Jupiter sighed as he watched the rest of the planets gather in the living room. He saw Sun's familiar glow as he walked into the kitchen to get something.
